HoH is available in new super colourful port-o-form on the PC and bloody good it is too. Can't remember the link offhand, can't be hard to find.
Monster Max was done by the same guy, as a Game Boy original? Nifty.

Batman was also remade as Watman, which in turn was ported to the GBA (that is, as homebrew).

Wasn't the Last Ninja trilogy for the C64 isometric? Everyone seems to like those. And Cadaver is probably a good bet too. (It's from the same folks who made Gods, Speedball, and The Chaos Engine.)

Ah yes, how did I forget that? One of my favorites. Also:

    Last Ninja
The EA "Strike" games (Desert, Urban, Nuclear, etc)
    Desert Falcon (Atari 2600/7800/XE(?)

EDIT: ah, crap. In review I see they've been listed already.

What about Super Mario RPG (Super Nintendo)? AWESOME game, highly recommended. One of my favorites, in my top five! Sonic 3D Blast is good too.

Edit: Nevermind, I thought it was CadaveR, but it's not. I do know exactly what game you're talking about...can't think of the name tho!

Anyway, here are some screenshots of CadaveR, also isometric style view "floating in space:"

Spindizzy Worlds is a great Marble Madness style game that needs to be played.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

wow I don't think PRIKURA has been mentioned, for the Saturn. Now there's a top isometric shooter.

    And also, Viewpoint. (NEO/GEN)
