Default Perfect Guide or Cool Poster?

In the back of the Arc the Lad strategy guide, there is an offer for a cool free 26.5" x 36" poster. Of course, to actually get the poster you have to CUT OUT THE ORDER FORM...no photocopies are allowed. I want the poster, but I also want the guide to remain intact.

So, would you cut out the form and damage what is otherwise a wonderful (hardbound, 570+ pages, full color, glossy paper, several pages of stickers inside) and collectible (very few produced as the game itself wasn't produced in large quantities) guide, or would you miss out on the poster and leave the guide intact? I don't think I'll actually hang the poster up if I get it, so I'm asking this purely from a "future resell" standpoint.

Is there a pic of the poster?
    Is it worth it?
    How much is the guide?

Maybe buy the guide a second time and cut it off. (just a suggestion)

Here's my review of the guide. It retails for $29.99, and I doubt I'd be able to find it anywhere at retail now as it's print run was somewhat limited. Otherwise I probably would just buy another one.

Perfect guide. Everytime I cut something out of a book, I regret it later.

I cut it out, just like I did with the Lunar 2 poster, cause WD's posters TOTALLY rule! They print them on nice heavy stock, and they're very well made...I highly recommend sending away for it while the offer is still valid.

I'd send an e-mail letting them know the situation and that you are a serious collector. Who knows maybe they'll give you a break.

Send them a photocopy of the form anyways and write in big letters with bloo- a red marker at the bottom saying "I'M NOT CUTTING THIS 30 DOLLAR BOOK UP I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE."

Offers where you actually had to cut a UPC from the back of game boxes always made me cringe, too. Here's to that grandmother of mine who cut up a Super Metroid box for the rebate before giving it to me as a Christmas present!

Still have the receipt? Send that and a photocopy of the order form to them, with a letter explaining that you didn't want to ruin the book.

Sorry gang, WD doesn't accept photocopies of the coupon no matter what. I've called them and talked to their department that does the promotion...if you send a photocopy, you just won't get a poster..it's as simple as that. I guarantee it.
