Default PS2 online question...probably has been covered before

I did a quick search in the archives, but not much has been posted ... I'm being cheap and don't feel like dropping the cash for a newtork adaptor for my PS2. Has anyone used one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=21187

If so, did you have any problems hooking it up?

Also, any ideas on how to make it wireless? I've heard that this works-- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...939291-2468125

but that is WAY out of my price range.

    Thanks,

    Todd

    Half-on topic....

I know Best buy at least has third party broadband adapters for the PS2 for much less than the official ones.

Dont buy it, get the Sony NA. These 3D party Network Adapters wont work with certain games. Spend the extra cash .

I could get you an official Sony Network adapter with all paperwork for abot $40.00 . It's sitting at a shop near my house. P.M. me if you want it?

Hey, thanks for the offer, but Best Buy now has these for $40.00. Again, it's another case of major retailers being either cheaper or the same price as ebay (with shipping).

I'm off to pick mine up during lunch.
