    Default will nintendo revolution hurts vintage video games market???

    been on my mind for a while , will the new nintendo revoluition hurts the vintage video games stuff, how bad will it be ??? will the stuff from 1977 to 1994 start losing value big time ???? nes,turbo grafx 16, snes,sega genesis and so on, will we see collections being dump on ebay and so forth???? i guess only time will tell.

    it HAS been discussed many times, but let me set my opinion anyway.

    Absolutely not.

    When "Classic NES series" for GBA came out, I dont think it did a thing to the original games values.

    Same thing for mega man X collection.

    Mega man X2 and X3 still sell for big bucks.

    Emulators and free roms have been available for years. yet here we are still buying up and trading classic games.

    Absolutely not.

    When "Classic NES series" for GBA came out, I dont think it did a thing to the original games values.

    Same thing for mega man X collection.

    Mega man X2 and X3 still sell for big bucks.

    Emulators and free roms have been available for years. yet here we are still buying up and trading classic games.

    I doubt it, Roms have been out and does not affect the situation.

    IMHO, i think it might actually boost the value of old school games. if people play these games enough, they might want to actually buy these systems and the games to go with it.
