Default Neverwinter Nights Collector's Ed, same as regular NWN?

I bought the collector's edition of NWN a few months back, brand new. And then when I take the discs out today the play disc has a huge scratch in it

Does anyone know if the discs are the same as the regular NWN discs? I know these say "Collector's edition" on it, but if the data's the same i'll just download a copy of the play disc.

    Thanks

The collector's edition is the same as the regular one, just with the extra pack-ins.

Also, if you're looking for replacement CDs at any point, the best way to go about it would just be to pick up the NWN Diamond package: one DVD has the entire game, plus both retail expansions, and the premium online content from the Kingmaker package. It's starting to drop to $20 at most retailers. I picked it up just for the Kingmaker content and the one disc install setup.

Ever play Baldur's Gate? (PC version)

Think of that, but better and in 3D.

Also, thanks for the suggestion Poe, but I already picked up both expansions for $5 each But the online content sounds interesting, is it just for multiplayer or single? (I don't do multiplayer)

I'm downloading the play disc now, this should be fine. Thanks for the help

The Kingmaker package includes Kingmaker, ShadowGuard, and Witch's Wake Remastered, which are all single player modules. Bioware's website also has Pirates of the Sword Coast (another single player) and Infinite Dungeons (Single- or Multi-player random dungeon generator module, though supposedly more polished than the fan-made freebies) Puchasing them a la carte from Bioware runs about $5-10, depending on the module, for anywhere from 2-12 hours of content.

They were also planning on selling a Dragonlance module this month, but I heard Atari had put the axe to all NWN support to avoid pulling interest away from NWN2. I think the team doing that module was going to release it for free next month, just to keep their work from going to waste.
