Default Best controller/joystick for Dreamcast fighting?

Maybe I've gotten spoiled lately by finally getting to enjoy King of Fighters 95 on the Saturn (making Tetsu proud!) I'm one of the (possibly) few that *really* digs the Saturn control pads. Anyway, I broke out KoF 99 Dream Match today, and this resulted in my swearing up a storm. Damn, do those Dreamcast pads suck for 2D fighting goodness. I never really noticed it before, but now that I've had it good... So:

What is the best control pad or joystick to pick up for playing games like KoF 99 on the Dreamcast and actually enjoying them as they should be experienced? My thumb hurts from trying to pull off simple moves - ones that I don't even need to think about with my loving Saturn pad. Poor Iori looked pathetic out there, and I blame that directional cross thing!

I like the Agetec Arcade sticks though I also enjoy using the 6-button pad that they offered with Cap vs. SNK. Those are my two favorites.

The Agetec green button stick is the one I own, and its pretty good. Also recommendation worthy is Mas systems sticks, which are basically X-Arcades but generally looked upon as being superior sticks.

I don't know if I've seen that one... Was it available here? Got a picture?

That's easy. A late model/Japanese Sega Saturn joypad and a convertor are the way to go for ultra-responsive gameplay. Don't leave home to go to a tournament without it!

I second the suggestion for a controller converter, especially since you're so fond of the Saturn pad. I've been using the Innovation adapter and a Saturn controller for about a year, and it has worked wonders on my skills at Fatal Fury and Last Blade 2.

Funny thing about that - Tetsu and I were discussing the whole controller converter thing as well. That's probably the way I'll go, unless I stumble upon a good stick this weekend. Appreciate all the input, I do I do.
