    Default 32x Failure? :(

    Dammit Dammit Dammit!
Since yesterday my 32x had been playing my games rather wierd...
Glitched graphics were being shown, games were locking up on certain events and so on...

'Havoc' locked up when the barrel from the first level fell on the character

My 'Shining In The Darkness' save has been erased while showing horribly glitched graphics

'Knuckles Chaotix' wont get past the Sega screen and shows messed up graphics on the background of the Sega logo

Are 32x's known for breaking like this or could mine be an easily solved problem?
I have owned it for quite a bit now... that could be the issue, however i really need this unit. (Cause it boosts the 60hz signal to full colour on my modded Megadrive 2!)
Im used to my games in 60hz now and itll be scary without them!

This should probably be in the Technical and Restoration forum.

That being said, what mods did you do to your MegaDrive 2? Is there any way you can try your 32x in a non modded MegaDrive?

    Not to get too technical:

You might have to crack that baby open and push in those white ribbon cables near the front. I've been told those tend to come loose over time.

Possibility is infinity! You must be satisfied!

Thank you, i opened it up.
The cables seemed okay inside, gave them a little wiggled just incase
Also gave it a good clean inside and its back to normal...

Shame i cant retrieve my Shining In The Darkness save!!!
