Default WARNING - Fake Sealed NES Games ???

This guy in Canada has 2 great games for sale.

    http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZlrnhw2drQQhtZ-1

I've been in contact with the seller to try to determine how legit they are. He posted new pics of the side seam which seem fake to me. They look very straight making a 90 degree angle.

I asked him to look at the following guide to verify if they are legit:

    http://reviews.ebay.com/How-to-Spot-...00000001556334

    Obviously he's now not replying.

You can see that he has other NES stuff for sale so is most likely a collector. He also want payment made by money order/cheque only :/

Do you guys think they're reseals ???

The CV looks legit to me but it's hard to tell on both because of the glare on the shrinkwrap. I would at least ask him to send you some more pics via email.

My Collection - Well, kinda. One of these days I will actually get a pic of the whole collection and post it on there. Until then, I only have a few games in there with some additional collection info stuff.

I'm not a sealed expert, or a NES expert but it looks like the seal edge runing up the side curls down to a point right where it meets the other seal. You have to look carefully but I do see that its not straight across.

I can say with 80% certainty that the SMB3 game is a reseal. I can't see enough detail on the CV game to say if it's legit or not.

Why? The pics suck but there's really nothing in the pics to say the SMB is a reseal. I think it looks pretty good actually. I still wouldn't take a chance on it from a low feedback/ money order only/ bad communication seller though, even at the current $100 price.

The castlevania, on the other, looks very questionable to me. The glare does make it difficult to tell, but the t-seam looks off and he has conveniently cut off the ends of the side seams in the pics and not shown the back either, despite my requests for both. Can't be sure from the pics but my bullshit radar is screaming.

I told the guy how I'm a collector who's willing to spend $$$. Now that I question the authenticity he won't reply to me. Total BS

I entered both pics into a photo editor to take a closer look. Both T seams look fake to me.... too much of a perfect 90 degree angle.

The fact that the seller only wants paper payment, has low feedback and seems to be a collector also makes me question it.

I saw these and also decided that there is just too much downside to the auctions to bid. had he accepted paypal, I still would not hae bid. I agree its difficult to say with any amount of certainty, but it is most likely a couple reseals. if he was a collector, he would had better pictures of the proof they were sealed. on the flip side, though, he is only listing two games and one system (that system is not new, I can tell that with certainty, I own several new NES systems and his pics show a great condition but not new system).
