    Default Montage of Early Xbox Games

    One of the people at my forum sent me a video off of an Xbox Diagnostic disc. It's an old marketing video from long before the xbox came out. Lots of early footage from a bunch of different games. All of the videos come from Microsoft Studios, i think...

    You can grab both a low rez (2 meg) and a full divx (22 meg) copy of the video here:

    I don't know why, but for some reason trying to visit your forum in Firefox or IE hangs the respective browsers

    Hmm... that happens to me once in a while when i visit a page with embedded video, the windows media player lockes up the browser (fixed it with windows updates).

    Try going here and see if it locks up:

    Either way, here are the direct links to the videos:

    Low rez (about 2 meg):

    High rez divx(about 22 meg):

    That link works dandy, so I guess it's an embedded video / windows update issue. Going to play around a bit and see if there's anything I can do on my end to clean it up

    Downloading the high res video now. Thanks for hosting these...I'm a sucker for this kinda stuff

    Blur Studios did the girl and robot moving in unison demo. They also helped come up with the acid green Xbox logo. Microsoft staged a contest at Xbox fan sites to come up with a name for the girl and the winning pick was Raven. The robots name is Rex.
    The demo I'd love to see was the one made by Blur Studios just for the Xbox team at Microsoft. It shows Raven and Rex at a shooting range with Sega's Sonic character, Nintendo's Mario and Sony's Crash Bandicoot gagged and bound to posts. Raven and Rex open fire and blow them into chunks. Supposedly the public never got to see that demo.

    I wonder whether SONY has the inside demo where Master Chief is hung onto the wall and many of SONY characters come out and shoot the hell out of him...
