Default Original Super Mario Wallpaper (Nintendo brand)

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ME:B:EOAB:US:6

Now I just need to get a house, move, and make my gameroom, and I'll have the wallpaper all set!

Anyone else know when this was available, for how much, where, and if it's STILL available? It's really thick "Plastic" wallpaper (Vinyl, but it's bumpy, and obviously VERY easy to wash, feels more like plastic than vinyl it's so stiff)

I have one such bolt in my room, in a very raggy looking box. It is a peel and stick type so no glue or anything needed. just a clean wall and sharp tool for cutting. One bolt is good for about 50 sq. ft of wall.

It still has the original price tag ($39.95, upc code 58559-40902) and on the back of the box it shows 3 more different wallpaper styles. One shows mario jumping, Mario on s power up mushroom, a few Koopas, and other but no giant mushrooms like the auction (-40900 for wallpaper, -70903 for border). Second one has just red, white, and blue vertical stripes to go with the bottom border featuring Nintendo logo, Nintendo Power logo, and other game logo on the bottom of the wallpaper(-40903 for wallpaper, -70902 for border) and third one is obviously for girl room as it has rainbows and Princess Toadstool (-40901 for wallpaper, -70900 for border)

From the auction, the top 2 looks like the ones I have and the bottom 2 is just the red/white/blue strips. Doesn't look like boxes are included.

I'd post pictures but my mother borrowed my digi cam and she's in Grand Rapids.

Another thing, there's a sticker on the box that says 'Made in Canada' and another of the same in French-- er... actuall Freedom language. It does say manufactured by Rosewall, inc. Closter, NJ 07624 so anyone in NJ area might want to check and see if that place have any unsold NOS laying around.

It's a neat thing to have but I don't know if the glue on the wallpaper's still good. I don't know how old it is but the picture of Princess suggest the wallpaper was released sometime after SMB2 came out.

Oh yeah I almost forgot, found this one at a second hand shop in Imlay City for $2.50 so it's about the going rate for unused SMB wallpaper.

I've got some of that left...a brief stint in another bedroom is where the bulk of it ended up. Fortunately, we had another roll of similar wallpaper with Mario, which is decorating my current bedroom.

I'd never think of puting that in my actual room, but if I had a dedicated gaming room, it would make a nice addition.

Before I moved, this was what covered my room. I am from Delaware and that is where the seller from Sylentwulf's auction is from. We bought it when I was in 2nd grade I believe, (about 13 years ago) at a SEARS actually. There is also at least one other type of border as well. One that says Nintedo power, Now your playing with power, etc. Unfortunately because my parents moved, we were unable to take any of the paper off the wall with us! lol. Anyways, I hope this helps anyone out~!

I should be moving to (most likely) my final house within a year or two, and the game room is being designed in the house (Building or designing my own house) and this wallpaper will be part of that glorious room.

Ow. Talk about seperation anxiety... I bet you got homesick pretty quickly.
I wish CafePress would allow you to create your own wallpaper, the way they do with T-shirts and mugs. How hard would that be for them to do, anyway?

Depends... what's your wall worth? I have 1 bolt (50 sq ft worth) and that's all. I have the pictures of it and will be posting shortly.

EDIT: the pictures of boxed wallpaper is up, it's fairly large at 500K each.

http://personalpages.tds.net/~wilykat/DSC01138.JPG is the top view of the box
http://personalpages.tds.net/~wilykat/DSC01139.JPG is the front view of the box
http://personalpages.tds.net/~wilykat/DSC01140.JPG is the bottom view. Note the Made in Canada sticker
http://personalpages.tds.net/~wilykat/DSC01142.JPG is the back of the box.

    The bolt is 20.4in x 32.8ft or 51.8cm x 10m

I went to the store today where I was the SMB wallpaper before and they still have quite a bit of it. I think there was three different kinds of wallpaper and 3 or 4 different borders. The border is $2.99 a roll and the wallpaper is $3.99 a roll. I think the wallpaper was 50 sq. ft. I'm not sure about the border. If anyone wants some let me know. I live in Portland, Oregon 97232 and it's fairly heavy so shipping could be expensive.

    Thanks, y-bot

I emailed you about the vinyl, bumpy super mario wallpaper. It has super mario brothers scenes on it and will take as many rolls as you can get. Up to 6 or 7 if you can get than many.

I purchased one of each of the items I have access to and here are some pictures:

Super Mario Wallcovering #40900 & Super Mario Border #70903

    www.hevanet.com/ccorner/tobys006.jpg

This is a picture from the bottom of the box showing all four kinds that were available. I CAN'T GET SUPER MARIO 2 WALLCOVERING #40902 OR SUPER MARIO 2 BORDER #70901.

This is a picture of the Peel & Place Stickers. The place that has the wallpaper claims to have these stickers as well but "they only sell them on the internet".
    www.hevanet.com/ccorner/tobys008.jpg

I can get the wallpaper for $3.99 a roll and the border for $2.99 a roll. If anyone wants some let me know and I will pick it up for you. If anyone wants to try and make a deal with the owner of this store I can give you his number. They are assholes and I will not deal with them anymore except to go in and buy something off the shelf.
    Thanks, y-bot
