    Well, let's break it down...

    The Getaway / PS2 / SCEA / $40 - Decent game from what I've heard

    GTA: Vice City / PS2 / Rockstar / $50 - I'll get it when it hit's $20-$30

    The Sims / PS2 / EA / $50 - Well, whaddya expect?

    Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists / PS2 / Konami / $50 - <shrug> it's the current pokemon, I've seen this coming for 2-3 years I'm REALLY surprised it took this long.

Devil May Cry 2 / PS2 / Capcom / $50 - Crap, This is the "dumb people buying crap games" theory in action

    Xenosaga Episode I / PS2 / Namco / $50 - WOOHOO!!

    Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice / GBA / Konami / $30 - See above

.hack: Infection / PS2 / Bandai / $49 - I think this is one game broken into thirds (Quarters?) Just to make more money. I'll buy them all when they're re-released in a bundle or collectors pack.

ATV Offroad Fury 2 / PS2 / SCEA / $40 - I've heard this is actually pretty fun. Haven't tried it yet, on my list of "grab it for $15"

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai / PS2 / Infogrames / $48 - <shrug> It's a DBZ game, and I've heard it doesn't suck half as much as the other american released DBZ games.

The Sims PS2 is better then the original PC release.

    >HACK//Infection also comes with an Anime DVD worth at least 10 bucks.

All those games are great except Yu-Gi-Oh PS2.. I rented it.. didn't understand it. Didn't care for the first Devil May Cry so I've not rented it.
I'm surprised that Dark Cloud 2 isn't selling well, it's quite good.. IMHO better then Xenosaga as hours and hours of FMV tend to make me reach for some Ritalin.

I'm depressed by the top two games in that list. It's like 90% of gamers have transformed into either Beavis or Butthead. I can almost understand peoples' fondness for Vice City, but The Getaway? Come on! Stupid Sony...

    POST 21!

Have you actually played the Getaway? It's a stylish departure from the "Beavis and Butthead" province of game appeal. It has some flaws (such as the healing system), but it's quite fun, kind of like a playable version of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.

And I hate to say it, but I think Beavis and Butthead would probably be more entertained by those action-oriented arcade games that you so cherish, Jess.

Zelda will make an impact next month... As for a good Xbox game, I am dying for one. I hate staring that ugly system rotting in my collection!

Also, total sales fell for Febraury, by about 5%...

And Nintendo said console sales doubled...
