    Default Baby Pac-man Help!

    Okay,

So, some of you might know that I got a busted Baby Pac-man a while back. My dad has been working on it, but is getting pretty frustrated with it. Does anyone here work on this particular game, and would be willing to work on my boards, or does anyone know someone that would work on it?

You know, I have been wanting one of these too. Every time I happen to find one for sell though, I always come to the realization that this is an awkward machine to work on and help is sparse. There has to be experts somewhere though!

    this site exists.... http://marvin3m.com/bally/babypac.htm

but, my dad told me to just try and find someone who knew exactly how to work on these.....that they might have a test bench set up, could throw my boards on it, and fix it in a matter of minutes....

Does the MPU board have corrosion damage from the leaky battery? If so, you'd be better off buying one of those Ultimate MPU boards from Alltek systems instead of trying to fix traces. Kind of pricey, but I bet you're at least looking at just as much for a tech to take a look at your board...

There's always the double-or-nothing approach. Buy a second one that works, use for reference, then sell later. Feeling lucky?
