Default Atari 8 -Bit Mogual Maniac

Hey all i saw on the rarity guide that mogul maniac on atari 8 bit is a 10 ( prototype or one of a kind) i have been summitting mine to many sites getting it known that this game exists. there was one home made typed site that had it listed for many years that it didnt exist till i provided proof. www.angelfire.com/nj2/atari/rare.html is my site where i have my pics of the cart up. so far the 2 main sites that i have been working with are

    atarimania.com
    and atari guide.com

is there anything that i can do for DP to help them with this title please email me and let me know Braves4515@aol.com

since they havent listed a value on this game. what is the ideal value that can be placed on a cart like this one

Just wanna say - thanks for stopping by! It's awesome when folks are free with help on the subject; especially when we all need to chip in to make sure stuff doesn't fall through the cracks. Anyway, enough of that weepy nonsense LOL

It's a first person skiing game, right? If this were a one-of-a-kind on the VCS I'd say...well, you're almost looking at four figures for prototypes there. An R8? Must be a few hundred bucks for a VCS eight...On the 8-bits, though, I *think* there's less demand so the price *may* be less. Doesn't mean that cart's any less cool, though. Plus it's apparently a 10...and the DP guide mentions a Romox cart, which yours isn't, right?

that would be mine. yes in a romox cart i would load pics here but im not sure how. if one of you can take my pics from the site and place at least one here that would be a cool help

well i try to help and get things out and help out. take a look at the cart on the site. it its a one of a kind. i assume to my knowledge there MIGHT be a 2nd out there. but i dont know . from what i heard from people it sounds like mine might be the only one. but somehow atarimania.com got a rom dump. i dont know who sent that in. but it wasnt when i owned my cart. and if it came after i bought mine then there would be a second one out there. i dont know

who knows how much later it is since last time i posted but i got a email today i want to share :

Ok another year later i didnt think there was gonna be any new info but i got an interesting PM today.

"I got an email today during one of the contests on AA.

i asked him if he can find any email adresses that i can try to track
down cause this might be a viable lead that might get some answers and
    maybe the elusive ROMOX Station.

"Sorry, this copy of Mogul Maniac is for the 2600. I didn't specify the
platform in the contest in order to make it a little bit harder for
    contestants.

I've never seen a (non-hacked) copy of MM for the A8. I believe that
either Andre or Nir may have a copy of this -- possibly burned onto one
of those Romox EPROMS -- but can't confirm. "

now i am working on finding out who Andre and Nir is.

    more ???s than !!!!'s

that was more the ending that made any interest to me . it might end up being nothing but maybe someone here knows these people ( either handle name here or on RGVC or Digital Press i dont know. but i figure id toss it out to u.

I believe you're right and Nir is Nir Dary, but I can't recall him doing anything 2600 related... I just remember him doing some disk to cart conversions for the Atari 8-bit.
