Default Final Fantasy Proto found ( I think)

i found what appears to be a Final Fantasy prototype. I found 2 carts. I know next to nothing about protos and I am curious as to it's worth. It's in good working condition.

    the outside of the cart

the insides of the first cart it says
    Final Fantasy
    PRG - L
    E-1 on the EPROMs

This the released version on the left for comparison

the second game seems to look alot like final fantasy in the board but does not work . Looks alot more like a proto though.

Its value depends a lot on whether there is any differences in the game itself. Can you find any changes such as different graphics, maps, etc.?

The last pic looks like a blank eprom board, there's no chips in the sockets.

Where did you manage to find this one at? I am curious because if it is a prototype this has the potential of being pretty big

there's no roms in the second pcb, you won't get anything out of it without any!

I have one of those romless carts also. Nice to have but nothing to do with it. If anyone wants it or better yet wants to trade it lemme know.

I finally put a few hours into the game, I have seen many small differences. Namely just diffrent names for monsters and some other gramatical things. here are some pics
what is called an imp in the released version

the guy says northwest in the release and north here(Castle Cornelia 2nd floor Southwest corner)

this is called a creep in the released version. worm is something else.
also note the the backgound in the temple of fiends. this is much diffrent than the columns in the released version

the Warwolf is called wrwolf in the release , grgobln is a grImp

the Eye is called the OddEye in the released version , eye is something else.

The antidote for poison in the release is Pure this is called Cure.
