Hi folks,
A quick question for my fellow classic controller enthusiasts.
For years now I have been using a directpad pro pinout converted set of NES pads, basically a set of female controller ports form the NES soldiered into a 25 pin parallel port connector in my PC, to play PC games with my NES controller.
Unfortunetely, The parallel port is going the way of the dinosaur slowly but surely (especially on laptops), so I come to my question:
Does an NES to USB adapter exist for purchase, anywhere?
Also, I know the SNES controller has a very similar internal circuitry to the NES controller, just with extra buttons.
Could an NES controller be adapted to an SNES plug to work through a SNES-USB adapter?
Any help greatly appreciated, as I would love to use my NES controller on this new little PSP sized Vaio I've bought.[/b]
