No problem, I'll do that tonight... Pics will be a little fuzzy though, my digital camera is a wee bit old... But you can def. tell what it is... Later!
4ever2600: Slap it on eBay and see what it gets, would be interesting...
Yeah, I think it would really be interesting... But I figured I'd see if I could SKIP the entire Ebay fiasco if someone wanted it outright first... If there are not any takers then I will put it on Ebay...
If you advertise an ebay auction on here and other forums that are heavily dedicated to classics and people want to own in there collection you may get more money for it. If your not willing to sell it unless for a specific price just set a reserve on it. I'd be willing to lose a couple bucks if I owned something that rare and it didnt meet the price on EBay, you'll whind up making up for it anyhow in the end by selling it to someone on here or on another collectors form. Just ask for another 10-15$ or however much u spent to list the ad on EBay to make up for ur loss.
Cant wait to see the picture. Haven't seen the actual game since the actual competition.
I am a collector of the classics (Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, 3DO, Saturn, etc.)
I told you this wasn't the greatest picture, but here ya go!
...! Wow.
Any combination of things from either of my lists that might interest you in its exchange?

Wanted: Any and all Dragon Quest, Lufia/Estpolis, Tales of series, and NIS games, strategy guides, and miscellaneous items. Will pay $$$ or trade well for items I don't already have.
I don't quite have an asking price yet... I'm just letting the offers roll in... I'm sure most of you want to know... the cart is in great shape... White label is in good shape, has a couple little dirty spots, nothing major. Yes, the cart works as I would never sell one that didn't... Even has remnants of what Blockbuster used to put on their carts (silver security stickers) that once peeled off, left a checkered silver pattern. Yes, it definately under those terms came from a Blockbuster... Any other questions I haven't answered, by all means don't be afraid to ask... I can't believe one of these things sold for $2500.00! I never really realized this cart was soooooooooo friggin rare! But I can understand why... I'm definately interested in serious offers, if I decide to just set a price outright, I'll post it here...
Here is alot clearer picture of the cart.. Learned lots about my digital camera tonight! The things we teach ourselves when money is on the line...
On the front of the cart, the couple little 'dirt marks' aren't dirt marks at all, they are actually part of the silver label that blockbuster used to put on the back of the cart which was long enough to wrap around the cart to a small portion of the front of the cart. If you weren't lucky, some idiot employee would put that OVER the paper label which meant it would NEVER come off without removing the entire label... This baby was lucky! Which makes one of you even LUCKIER!
The back of the cart has the 'remnants' of one of those security stickers on it...
Now don't get me wrong, I could googone ALL of that and make it a completely clean cart, but I think leaving the label in tact makes it a little more authentic... CMON, how many of us rented games from blockbuster and HATED that stupid security sticker! But, nonetheless I think I'll leave that up to the person that buys the cart. Give me all of your thoughts on that one...
Thanks! - D
I would keep the sticker on personally. Nice looking cart.

I think if you sell the cart I should be paid some cash since I started this thread and your about to become a couple thousand richer from someone. j/k.. no but really if you wanna send some money my way..
I am a collector of the classics (Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, 3DO, Saturn, etc.)
Well, this should be interesting to say the least ; )
And ACEPUPPY, I would have been happy to throw a little money your way, but then I realized, you're not getting a penny from me because you don't even know how to spell Genesis! Gensis? Shame on you!
Just to clarify, starting a thread (there are two others on here) and actually KNOWING how much the cart is worth are different stories.
