Here is my entry…
It is a pumpkin I grew in my garden that is only about 5 inches in diameter…
Kirby’s Adventure has always been a favorite of mine.
Edit: I know it looks like complete crap. It was still fun, though.

Don't say that! It looks pretty darn good (especially lit up). And its MILES better than everyone else whose not even carved one yet. Hold that head up high!
Heck, in my work safe mode (white background ate that white text), I didn't even see the fact that you grew your own pumpkin! Thats even a nicer touch!

Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Hmmm, nice entries so far. I'm nearly done mine, I just need to add a few finishing details. I'll probably post mine on Friday, I'm busy tomorrow.
HurricaneAndrew, how did you get that color? I would assume a glowstick, as I've done that in the past, though I'm not sure that would fit in a pumpkin so small!
Keep them coming!
Nah, no glowstick. Just a candle.
I assume that everyone else must be using a different variety of pumpkin or something. I read in last year's thread that Exacto knives are the tool of choice, but an Exacto won't go through the thick rind of mine. That's why it looks sloppy.

Alright, time to post mine. Carved with butcher's knife, steak knife, and coping saw blade, and yes, all the parts are from a single pumpkin.
It's.... JIGGLYPUFF!
Yes, I carved it:
Even cute in the dark!
The camera doesn't pick it up to well, but her little puff of hair glows nicely in the dark.
edit: Oh, and understatement, how/why did you ruin a shirt!?

This year, I went with a horror theme...
OOOOooooOOOOO SCAAAARRRYY!!!
I carved it with a child's safety carver from the dollar store (that I've had *since* I was a child...)
I got the red light by taking the electric bits out of one of those plastic perma-pumpkin, and replacing the bulb with a christmas light.
This is the only time I've ever been thankful that retailers put out christmas supplies before halloween!
ps. my xbox is fine
