holy crap. I never looked at it that way.
maybe ill glue little turrets on this beast, and some little plastic sailorfolk.
It looks more like an aircraft carrier.
I don't know which "Super Battleship" is better.
Sega's:
or
NEC's:
The answer should be obvious. SuperGrafx Super Cd rom2 combo.
The nicer thing about using the Genesis 1 with your setup is that you will also be able to swap out the 32X for the Power Base converter and play SMS games at any time.
The easiest way to do this with less hassle is to plug both the RF switch from the Genesis unit into the TV or VCR as well as the AV cords coming from the 32X. That way they both stay hooked to the TV and Sega Master System games can be played with a change to channel 3.
The Sega Master system game sounds should still come out of the rear of the Sega CD if I remember right.
Devastator says that he's better than Menasor.
I think Devastator and Menasor both are better then that shit bot abomination I drew lol.
Image bad, Omega Supreme!
Everyone knows that Unicron is the best! Sheeesh.
I like the look of the X'Eye. Boy does it look a hell of a lot cleaner than all of the other setups. The only problem with the X'Eye of course is the green power switch, and the fact that if you have a 32X installed, you have to remove it to pop in a CD.
Although, I think the X'Eye is the neatest looking of them all, I'd have to say that the Model 1 with the model 1 CD is just staggeringly beautiful.
Anyone else think it's gay to bitch about the aesthetics of a Genesis model 1 with a Sega CD model 2? They work fine together. Both consoles have some excellent, wonderful, and unique games, enjoy them.
Really, in the end of it all - I could care less about what a console looks like - because like mentioned, the games are what matters. But even still, I admire and take notice of consoles that are nice to look at, or just plain ugly.
Usually but some games react badly if you use a ram cart through a 32x if a model 1 genesis is used (Lunar II) and a few versions of the CD model 2 choke on other games (the one with a 240 laser didn't work well with Lunar 1). This is one of few systems where people should get more than one version.
In my case, I specifically wanted my model 1 Genesis to have a model 2 CD as its companion. For some reason, I like how obnoxiously large the "super battleship formation" is.
