Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

Good thing it was thunderstorming today, or else I would have taken the motorcycle to work, and not had the car to go thrifting today!
My 3-year long quest to get replacement wavebirds was finally sucessful today! (My ex took our old ones, and I didn't want to pay $40-50 each for used ones)
Stupid thrift store priced the controllers at $3.99 each, and both of the receivers in a separate baggie for $3.99. I argued this at the register to no avail.
Also got GC powercord/RF adapter. I was short an AC cord, so this is good.
No system or games to be found anywhere in the store, but probably half a dozen wired first part controllers there that I passed on, as I don't need any more right now.
This is also the second 360 power brick I've gotten there. I figure a few years from now, when I start finding barebones consoles at thrifts and yard sales, I'll be happy to have these.
Also, what the heck is that BEE MARIO from? I havn't played a Mario game since World...
They also had a bowser the same size I really really wanted, but he was missing an eyebrow, so I left him there
All I bought today was Armor Attack and Spacechase for the Atari 2600, loose, for $1.99 each and Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves without an instruction manual for $9.99.
I only bought the copy of Spacechase because I've read that Games By Apollo made the offer to put people's names or initials into the game for a ridiculous amount of money. They only did ten of them or so, and there's no way of telling until you play one. So what the hey, I bought it hoping for the best. Haven't tried it out yet.
So you still walked away with 2 Wavebirds for 12 bucks plus tax? I agree the packaging was dumb but you still got a great deal. That Mario doll was your hint to bee happy (Tip your waitresses ladies and gentleman, I'm here all week)
"What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk... Have at you!"

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy I got them, just frustrates me sometimes how arbitrary thrift stores can be sometimes.
also, I went back today to see if any more GC stuff was put out. All I found was 2 different Winnie the Pooh games. And someone had bought all of the wired controllers.
