finally game number 108. (dang not Suikoden II. get it 108 stars? I wish). Motor Toon Grand Prix.
The first PS1 PSN game was deleted. XS Moto was replaced by Toy Story Racer. Not a bad trade, but this unfortunately means they do have the ability to delete unwanted games at any time. Hopefully it doesn't happen to any good games.
Those who wanted RPG's and such. Well Arc The Lad and Alundra were released this week.
Yessss!!! Alundra is on PSN now for only $6. What a good deal on a good game. Arc the Lad joins it and now we have 4 Japanese import games. Hopefully this continues.
The bad news is, those four Disney games were only limited time re-releases and they are now gone.
Arc the Lad 2 and Arc Arena come out on PSN next week. $5.99 for Arc the Lad 2 or $8.99 for both bundled.
If you've never played the game then I highly recommend it. This is easily one of my favorite games and has so much content. Arc Arena gives you more to do if you've already finished everything you can do on Arc the Lad 2.
Both PS1 Oddworld games are now up as well.

I love Money Idol Exchanger. I'm going to have to pick it up. Too bad it's probably Engrish-free.
Along with a slew of Disney PS1 Games,
R4 (Ridge Racer 4) snuck onto the PSN this week!
Still my favorite entry in the series, it's pretty much the format and play control style that all of the modern Ridge Racer games use now. Surely the most series-defining entry.
Great great stuff and I'm glad to see it on the network.

Does it have the 60fps tech demo of Ridge Racer that came on a bonus disc?
The fact that they delete the really bad games suggests that Sony has some sense of quality control over this service, which lets me breathe a sigh of relief. But in turn, it also reminds us that we need to make sure we support the games that we really like! I have already bought 7 quality titles from the PSN now and really enjoy it. However, I am still eagerly awaiting Dragon Warrior VII, both SaGa Frontier and both Megaman Legends games, as well as Tron Bonne and Klonoa (even though I own those two on disc, I would gladly sell them for the cash provided they did appear on PSN!)
