Anyone know when Treasures of the Caribbeans will be released?
It's already sold out, supposedly to be released toward the end of the year

They're not easy to get hold of, I tried to contact them just to confirm my MVS order. If you really want to get this game, they plan to release NGCD version, again, this is planned, not confirmed. Send email to: contact@bang2busters.com
My concern is that at this point, they still sac other games for all their releases, including MVS carts, something I really frown upon. Hopefully this will change soon with NGDEV making cart shells, boards, and snap-lock boxes.
Not to nitpick but does anyone know what the idea behind the Dragon Box is? I like the different boxart on the Dragon Box and the sound of the posters but have no interest in paying for copies of the exact same game. Is this just for people who want to say they have every version of Gunlord?
Can't answer your question but when you said "Dragon Box" I thought you were talking about those special Dragon Ball Z box sets. Raised a few eyebrows, it did.
Speaking of, my question is, how is this not Super Turrican 2 for the SNES? It actually looks like they peeled the game engine from that very game. The enemies look the same, the physics looks the same, the 360 degree laser, and the rolling dodge all look the same. The only thing that looks different is the level design. Am I out of my mind, or did they borrow the game engine from this game?

Posted July 2nd, 2011 on their facebook page:
"Bang Bang Busters Neo Geo Game Aes
Pre-order for Treasure of Caribbean July 20th
Limited Edition of 100 pieces,Japanese only.
Price: 350 euros.Priority to the buyer of Bang Bang Busters from July 15th.
Neogeo CD version is confirmed (english and japanese) for December.
Thanks to everyone."
then on July 23rd, 2011
"Treasure of Caribbean AES sold out, thank you very much."
In just 8 days, better than half of those already sold to buyers of BBBusters. This is the reason NGDEV decided to make AES version from scratch. The home cart market is a mystery to most, despite the outdated technology, people keep buying games even if it's only halfway decent.
p.s.
I'm not sure if Golden Shop still has it

It's worth a try.
