Just wondering what some of the more rare games are for the playstation?
Also wondering what games are the most expesive and are holding there value for the ps1? If any can point me to a rarity list with prices by the games would be great!!

rarest game has to be Buster Bros. Collection, i cant find this thing anywhere.
Eyes - Pete and Pete, Bullet Ballet
Ears - Exploding Hearts , Tattle Tales
Hands - Neutopia II, NBA Live 05
Well, you can find Buster Bros. Collection pretty easily on ebay (I just got mine from there last week ), same with DBZ Final Bout. My educated guess is that the rarest game is either Fox Hunt or Psychic Detective.

the lightspan educational discs i think are the rarest.
Anyone know how rare Easter Bunny's Big Day is? I thought since it was such an odd-sounding title, it might be somewhat uncommon.
its not rare, lots of stores are carrying it.
Darn. WIll it be maybe? I don't want to think that I wasted a perfectly "buy one get one free" freebie. lol
The fact that every Toys 'R Us in the country is carrying it in their 2-for-1 should tell you something. On a normal system in the normal evolution of video gaming, that game WOULD be rare. But PlayStation breaks all of the rules. There have never been so many "late releases" as this system has seen, it will be interesting to see if any of them hold their value as other systems' late releases past have.Originally Posted by RetroYoungen
You've got a good point. And even if it's never "rare" or anything, I can still grow my kids up with easy jigsaw puzzles and memory games. But hey, maybe no one else will buy it... lol
One can only hope they do, friend. One can only hope...Originally Posted by digitalpress

It recently had a reprinting done. You used to be able to get them for around $70-$80 on ebay, but now you can get one for around $30-$40.Originally Posted by bensenvill

Braindead 13 is the rarest normal release, the Lightspans are also very rare. Buster Bros. is uncommon, but not too rare - I see it every few months. Fox Hunt is quite rare, but I've ran into it twice. Psychic Detective I've seen only once, but it shows up on ebay more often than Fox Hunt or Braindead 13. Ubisoft's F1 Racing Championship is tough to find. Power Rangers Zeo Pinball. Roadsters and Striker Pro 2000 I've seen only once each, and they're not that common on ebay.
Quick OT question, how did the multiple discs for Braindead 13 and Psychic Detective actually stay held in there. In my copies, there is only one place for a CD to go. I've been confused by this for quite a while.
And while we're talking about rarer PSX games, Romance of the III Kingdoms IV is significantly harder to find in long box. SIGNIFICANTLY. The game is already pretty uncommon to begin with, but you'll probably find 30 in the jewel case before you find one in a long box.

That's the way my Braindead 13 is also, with only one spindle, and NOTHING for the second disc. I got mine used, so I always assumed there was a paper cd sleeve for the second disc, but now I'm not so sure.
Anyone ever open up a new one?
