I've got both 1 and 2 on the GBA and love them to death. I know there are a ton of import console versions, but I've never played those. How do the GBA versions compare?

I'm not sure I understand your question.
Anyway, the Fire Pro Wrestling series has been around since the 16-bit days, but only started to get good when it was released for the Saturn and Playstation. The Turbografx-16 versions were pretty weak, and the same could be said for the Fire Pro Wrestling spin-off on the Genesis.
My favorite game in the series is Fire Pro Wrestling A (known here as just Fire Pro Wrestling) for the Game Boy Advance. I've tried the Dreamcast version of Fire Pro Wrestling and while the graphics are vastly improved over any of the other games, it just doesn't seem to play as well... the timing for holds is different than it was in the Game Boy Advance version. Still, the graphics really are superb, and like the other games, Fire Pro D is incredibly customizable.

I wanted to know how the US GBA versions compared to some of the home console import versions. That better?I'm not sure I understand your question.
Wow, I absolutely hated Fire Pro Wrestling 2. In fact, it's the only game I can remember throwing against the wall in disgust (I traded it in the next day, the day after I bought it). What a terrible boring game. Then again I'm not a huge wrestling fan, but there was no draw to it for me, just irritating controls and mediocrity in general.
And did I not answer your question with my post?Originally Posted by Gamereviewgod

In a word, "not". Do yourself a favor and pick up one of the imports like Fire Pro Wrestling D (DC) or Fire Pro Premium X (SFC). I'm afraid the GBA ports just don't cut it.
Do yourself a huge favor and get Fire Pro D for the Dreamcast. Tons of grapplers and moves, deep Create A Wrestler, and some great modes (shootfighting, 8 man tag, exploding cage, lightbulb/barbwire matches). I've never played the GBA versions, but every one that i know that has had time with both the portables and DC say that the DC version is better.

The best 2D and 2.5D video games.
I absolutely hate "real" wrestling... but I still like Fire Pro Wrestling on the GBA. I've only played the first one, but I've always found it fun (It helps that I got the game for super cheap)
