Default Great day at the junk stores!

I love Goodwill and Salvation Army stores.
Today I made out like a bandit from hell.
Got an NES and Super NES with Super Mario Bros. 2 for $15 total.
Walked off with Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy II, A Link To The Past, and Super Valis IV for $2.50 each. I picked up about 20 more Snes games for $2.50 each.
So basically I picked up 2 PRISTINE working systems and 24 games for only $65. Beats the hell out of ebay!

Great deal. Especially the FFII and Secret of Mana. Congrats!

You may also want to post your finds posts in the Video Game Forum. Most people look there instead of here.

Nice finds. Some reason I have never ever seen ANY games in any salvation army store. Do they keep them in special places or what? I decided to stop in at a saver's today and happened to find a complete shadowgate ;).

In Goodwill the games always seem to be seperate from the other electronics. I always find them floating around the toys and stuff.
I've found the Goodwill's in my area to be great places to find games. These games I bought were all loose, but absolute PRISTINE condition.
Our Salvation Army stores seem to usually have just consoles and Genesis games in horrible condidtion.
I found a totally complete(except for the box) Master System a few months back in a Goodwill. Once, maaaybe twice a week is usually enough time to get new games in. My god bless these princes and princesses of gaming.

Both the Salvation armys around me suck. The stuff is just flat out dumped all over and it would take hours to search through boxes of crap. Goodwill now is awsome so clean and neat I got so much there lately. I buy records cassettes a working tv for 6 bucks lots of video games. My friend got 17 boxed nes games lot for 39.99.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

Yeah, the Goodwill here just got a brand new building. The finally moved out of that old dirty rundown grocery store, and moved uptown.
Everything is neat and orderly, and so findable.
I do like how they keep the "valuable" N64 games like Bassmaster's and Madden games up front behind glass, but all the old worthless stuff Final Fantasy II and Secret of Mana gets tossed in the back with the old toys...

Do a search for their websites, then look for a store locator link. That's how I found the ones in my area

At the goodwill in my town, the video games are in the display case right when you walk in. They sometimes have systems and they are either in the case, or back by the electronics.

My goodwill usually has the nes, genesis, atari, and snes games at .99. Even the boxed and complete ones. Once in a whil they will be 2 bucks though. I got 3 complete nes games, loose bubble bobble, and loose joust, each for a buck once. Also got an nes for 3 bucks (with all cords and controllers) and an snes for 3.00 (with all accessories) They had a game gear there for 20 bucks though once. Also had a genesis for 6 bucks and the controllers were seperate for 2 bucks each. Pretty weird.
