Ok I am buying a TG-16... wanted one for awhile now. I have a few questions though before start buying games.
- What games came with boxes, and which came in cases?
- Is it a region free system?

We had a topic a while back about boxes/vs. cases.
The system is NOT region free, so you'll be happy to pick up a Core System for the A/V output, of course!
congrat on the win !! it order for you to play (pc engine hucard ) you need to pick up a hucard converter !!
nice win on a nice system
i know that Darkwing Duck didn't have a plastic CD type case -- just instructions and card -- i don't know about it having a cardboard box

Yes, Darkwing Duck did come packaged with a cardboard box.Originally Posted by tholly
Get the new DP Advance Guide.
It tells what came with what for the TG-16.
Instead of a converter, is it possible to hack a region switch into the system so that you get just a little toggle switch rather than some contraption jammed into the port?

I love the tg-16 and that's a nice win however you'll need a turbo tap to take advantage of that second controller.
nothing beats slaughterhouse
have fun
do a search for D-lite on these boards. he does a great job on the switch you're talking about. he has a website too but I've forgotten what it is. If you don't mind modding your console the toggle switch is a bit cheaper.Originally Posted by Ze_ro
Not a bad win on the system there. Those are some good games. Like said the system isn't region free so you'll have to look into that, but as far as games that only come in boxes there are quite a few such as Air Zonk, New Adventure Island and Shockman. I would defenitely pick up an advance guide so you can just flip through and see which come with the box and plastic tray only.
