I got a sealed Gitaroo Man on the fleamarket today - as it seems to be rare in the US how about Europe?
I also bought Ico, Silent Hill 2 (both in cardboard boxes) and a few others.
Maybe we can share some PS2 rarity insights

I saw one copy of Gitaroo Man in a Saturn Market in the 20EUR bin, I don't know how to interpret this though - either it means that it's not rare at all because it's available in such a mainstream chain, or it means it's very rare because they only had one copy that nobody wanted anyway :)
I think ICO L.E. is quite common, there's always some of those around on ebay and I've even seen one copy at a fleamarket once.
funny, i grabbed a new copy of Gitaroo Man for 5 bucks this week @Woolworth, but i guess you're right, should be quite rare as should all obscure games like Fantavision (know a store selling it for 20, gotta wait for some price drop) and Metropolismania (got that for 2 bucks new, hehe)

I have a copy of ICO not the cardboard box version but the plastic box version and I think that is rarish as I have'nt come across many of those, whereas I have come across a few cardboard box versions.
I know nothing about PS2 games, but I've found a couple of copies of Fantavision in the wild without really looking for them - bought them both as gifts for PS2-owning friends, and paid (I think) £8 and £10.
I think Rez and Guilty Gear X would definitely be rarities.
Rez? not sure about that, i remember seeing quite a lot of copies in stores...

Well, then it's just a rarity here in Australia.
@hydr0x &robotriot
then maybe it's a good time to pick them up as soon as you can

Rez? is there any difference to the DC version? if not i don't need it, i'm going for complete dc anyway and definetly never for complete ps2 (cause i'm already going for complete gamecube)Originally Posted by AtariBuff

The general consensus is that it's close to the DC version, but not 100% perfect. No additional features.Originally Posted by hydr0x

you're going for a complete PS1 PAL set? you know, i know the store i work at is going to sell off all PS1 games soon due to the space the DS and PSP will needOriginally Posted by AtariBuff
i expect prices off <5€ per sealed game, we have about 50 different games left, the current ak tronic line-up (Celebrity Deathmatch, Smurfs Racing, Hugo games and such stuff) plus several others like GTA2, FFIX (going to grab that one though, it's platinum anyway), some Midas Interactive games, nothing spectacular or anything, but for that price you might consider picking them up (i would do that for you of course)
the last copy of Metal Slug X is mine though it's currently at 15€, as soon as it drops under 10€ i'll grab it
-Jan
hehe. hydr0x, yes, I'm at about 610 yet - still many to obtain, but I will get back to you as I need some of them Midas titles.
noooooo, I'm missing Metal Slug X - gimme for EUR 10

if you send me your need list to hydr0xATgmx.net i'll let you know which of those we have, then you can tell me how much you want to pay for those and i'll grab them as soon as they drop that lowOriginally Posted by AtariBuff
my boss is quite willing to drop prices really low, i got a lot of bargains there already, like Donkey Konga + Additional Bongos for 30€, Metropolismania PS2 for 2-3€, Dexters Laboratory PS1 0.50€, Pro Rally GC 1€ and about a dozen gamecube games for 5€ each (incl. Starfox Adventures)
-Jan
Did someone say cheap? I'd be interested in those PS games as well. Hell, if there's any cheap games I'm in.
My collection is here:

Hit refresh if it looks crooked. It's a couple of months old, added about 100 since then but not much changes with the newer releases.
