If I was forced to sell off the majority of my collection....

I think I would hold onto my Vectrex + Solar Quest and Gravitrex.

I would also keep my Gameboy ASP and all of my gameboy games.
The Gameboy was my first gaming love , and I would miss it too much.

Sometimes I think I could sell off everything except for the Sega stuff and ther PCE stuff. Nice amount of money, some more space, and most of the games I really care about would be intact.

Some of the Super Famicom stuff and most of the PC-FX stuff would be really hard to get back, but I wouldn't be all that upset about that in the long run I think.

I wouldn't reduce my collection unless I had to... as in I had a choice: Live on the streets vs. Keep Games.

I wouldn't mind selling off everything except what was made by/for Nintendo consoles.
That doens't really slim it down though. I just can't see myself ever parting with it.

sell all the shit, use the money for good purposes, and get an xbox with all the roms.

problem solved. cheap as shit, and your not losing anything. such a simple solution
is that supposed to be a joke I thought you were super anti roms and emulation.
if money were tight, and my collection needed to be sold, i think that would be a good alternative to sitting in my room with nothing but 5 stupid games or so that id just tire of in 30 minutes and never play again.

i'm with you on this one. i wouldn't want to get rid of anything, but i'd resort to ROMS before having like 5 games.
