[PSX] Soul Edge?

I've got a game that says Soul Edge on the opening title. From my research on the internet it's essentially Soul Blade, but perhaps the Japanese version? Anyone know?

wasn't Japanese release called Soul Edge?
I need to check out my copy tonight though to be sure...

[edit] just checked and it's called Soul Blade in US and Europe and Soul Edge in Japan which was the arcade title it's based on...
