I'm not much of a completist myself. I'm more the type to collect the games I want to play.

As for the US store released games:
Vectrex (No Minestorm II or Clean sweep clone, most of the homebrews)
Turbografx
Microvision
Aquarius
32X/32XCD
Odyssey 2
Only a handfull needed for Sega Master.
FRED
Intellivision
5200 (US commercial releases)
7800 (ditto)
Dreamcast (except for Sonic Adventure Special Edition)
Joe, did you ever find that last one? With case?

completing a collection always seems to involve crossing that bridge where you have to plunk a lot of money on some cart, i cant do that even if it was in my budget to do so. that said i am relentlessly advancing on all systems like a vaccum from hell. i'm at 75% or so on every platform (aside from psx on where i'm not really trying yet) and still average one new cart per day. current obssesions include the NES, 100 or so to go, the gamegear which is bigger than i suspected and the final few SMS carts. i'll probably trade my way to completion before i ebuy my way there. i did ebuy my way to a complete coleco tabletop set but that was another matter.
this brings up a related thought i had --ATNN DP-- how about a collection completion computer? i was looking at the carts released graph on the master list archive and thought to myself "wouldnt it be cool if i could input my cart counts into those feilds and have them overlayed on the graph?" since i dont know squat about HTML or coding i'd like some one savvy and dedicated to game collector to create this, come on DP, do it for the people!

And since games like Air Raid are out there, there are only very few *possible* 2600 complete sets, right? Even NES has hundreds of copies of the rarest games (not counting NWC) and a couple dozen possible completes counting NWCs.
My question is: Does *anyone* ever see Sonic LE? I need it for my DC collection. I was also wondering if I should look for it CD only or whether it came in some kind of case/instructions?
More complete 2600 collections than any other?
Are you kidding? Good luck in finding/paying for Eli's Ladder and Video Life.
I believe that the 2600 is one of (if not) the hardest systems to complete. Sheer volume of available copies of certain titles will prohibit many from completing this beast.
Great to deal with: Leonk, AdamG, Cheesystick, DigitalPress, ButtaSuperb, Hydr0x, Darth Vader, Gary Gnu, Portnoyd, NexWave, Postermen, Kaine23, ARCZero, kai123, Buyatari, Minilek, DREW, bighab, AlanD, Flack
I am no where near having a complete collection of games for any console.
The most it have is 30 for my N64 (26 PAL + 4 NTSC). However, I'm proud of my PAL games as they are all boxed with instructions and all in perfect condition (although my boxes for Cruis'n USA and Tetrisphere are looking a bit on the bad side...)
The least amount of games I have for a console is my Dreamcast - all I've got is Sega Rally 2 (which is easily one of my favourite games of all time), but I need more!
I have a complete N64 collection sans one damn you Activision, and I have a complete DC collection. And the complete DC collection contains all complete games except Sonic Limted Edition and Spiderman, which I don't have the book for (I got it at blockbuster, and so they tore out the instruction book except the cover).
I need Waterworld and Jack Bros. to have a complete Virtual Boy US collection.
My mother, also a collector, is a huge Saturn fanatic and she is five games shy of the promise land. Those would be Megaman X4, Saturn Bomberman, Steep Slope Sliders, Virtual Casino, and Winning Post. Altough with the exception of Bomberman, I don't think she's actively searching for them.
Hay Charlie about your Mom's games, I asked my local store about them, and they said they sold a disk-only Steep Slope Riders 2 days ago When I was talking to you on AIM, you asked me to keep an eye out, so I did, sorry, man..
Looking to sell a videogame magazine collection of 200(+) magazines, 60 cents each, send me a PM if you're interested!

I FINISHED MY SEGA CD COLLECTION TODAY!
w00t!
I'm going to try to arrange everything into a monster picture like the TurboGrafx-16 collection pic I've got online. Tough though. Lots of games.
Going for the US set, eh?Originally Posted by Arrrhalomynn

I'm not close to one I guess, but focus is first on a complete NES PAL collection (label variations not counted, although if I get them some way I keep them).
I just completed my Intellivision collection and I have previously completed;
RCA Studio II (no Bingo though)
Arcadia 2001
Odyssey 2.
I'm close on these:
Astrocade (Astrocade Pinball, Bally BASIC #6002, BASIC Demo, Blast Droids, Blue Ram BASIC, Galaxian, ICBM Attack, Machine Language Manager, Mazeman, Ms. Candyman, Sea Devil, Sea Wolf/Bombardier)
Atari 5200 (need 15)
Atari 7800 (need 15)
Channel F (Casino Poker, Checkers, Hangman, Math Quiz #7, Memory Match, Slot Machine)
Cassettevision (Big Sports 12, Grand Champion, Monster Block, Elevator Panic)
Vectrex (3D NArrow Escape, Polar Rescue, Rip Off, Star Castle)
y-bot
my meager collection by percentages (counting US releases only, some from 'work in progress lists')
atari 2600 - 6.3% complete (33/520)
NES - 0.2% (2/835)
Gameboy (b&w) - 1.7% (9/516)
Sega Genesis - 15.5% (110/708)
Sega Game Gear - 2.3% (6/259)
Super Nintendo - 8.9% (65/724)
Playstation - 0.9% (13/1383)
Nintendo 64 - 7.0% (21/297)
Sega Dreamcast - 18.6% (47/252)
Playstation 2 - ? (1/?)
Nintendo GameCube - ? (11/?)
I collect for so many damn systems,it's hard to finish/complete them...unless I focus on only one..
I need one game to finish my Microvision (boxed collection)
I need a few boxed carts for the Odyessey 2 to finish that.
A few for Tiger R Zone, the Leisure Vision is almost complete..(waiting on package)
I started a Playstation game collection a few years ago..I got up to over 600 games and I got overwelmed...too many damn games for that system..with new crap coming out from small compainies everyday..
Lately I've been mainly focusing on Neo Geo MVS games..
But I think these TableTops are complete Yes?
my collecting is going a different route, instead of getting all the games for a system, I prefer to try and get every system. then after that I'll pick and choose which ones I'd go for the complete on. I might try Sega CD, Saturn, or TG-16 for completes first. I do have nearly 60+ saturn games, unfortunatly not all complete. However the complete games I have are the ones that count (shining force III, shining the holy ark, Sonic Jam)

Holy crap. It's been a while.
I have over 30 systems, but the one I have first completed is my 32X. All the games are boxed and protected. Web of Fire was evil to find complete.....but was not the last for me(RBI and World Series were if you believe that!) I am about 150 shy of my NES collection. It is cool to collect entire systems, but finances and revenue are kind of "wasted" on finishing a system when they could be used to buy good games! My next goal is the fairly easy 7800(halfway there) and probably the NGP and 5200. I am two thirds of the way with my sega CD. It all comes down to if you want to spend your money on crappy games!

Finished another collection today!
Atari 5200.
Surprisingly, the last game acquired was NOT Bounty Bob Strikes Back, but acquiring that game in a trade 2 weeks ago put me back on the hunt for Beamrider and Quest for Quintana Roo. QfQR was the last one. ALL DONE!
