By new, I don't mean today's arcade games but just collections featuring older arcade games that we haven't seen before. How many times can we buy Pac-Man, Asteroids and Missile Command?

Tecmo is publishing Tecmo Classic Arcade in North America later this year, with these games:
Tecmo Bowl
Rygar
Pleiads
Solomon's Key
Swimmer
Bomb Jack
Tecmo Cup
Pinball Action
Strato Fighter
Senjyo Star Force
-- Z.
*drool*
solomon's key with a save/password feature would make me very happy. I guess I could use savestates, but then I wouldn't be spending any money
Midway Arcade Treasures 3 should be coming out later this year. It focuses on racing games and includes:
Badlands™
Hydro Thunder®
Off Road Thunder: Mud, Sweat 'N Gears™
Race Drivin'®
San Francisco Rush The Rock: Alcatraz Edition™
San Francisco Rush 2049™
S.T.U.N. Runner™
Super Off Road™ & Bonus Tracks Pack

Capcom Classics Collection was announced in May and is supposed to be released in September. There's a thread with more about it here.
Didn't or isn't Taito coming out with a collection?
I do remember hearing about Taito coming out with one. I don't know if or when it might be released in the U.S., though. I think that compilation was announced for Europe.
I don't suppose anyone will ever put the original Crazy Climber out in a U.S. release compilation, eh?
The Capcom Classics Collection sounds great. If it sells, hopefully we'll see more classics such as 1943 and Ghouls 'N Ghosts.
The compilations sell... Yes. Many compilations will be available as previously mentioned above. It will be interesting to see if crazy climber, or some such games are successfully added to a retro release (that would be sweeeeeeet)
With a humble heart, on bended knee...
Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary Arcade Collection is coming out soon for GBA, PS2, GC, XBox. It looks to be a decent collection.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Number 1 in the 'hood g!
The problem with the Namco collections is that we keep seeing the same games. I'd like to see compilations of 80s arcade games featuring games not available to the home market before.
Two actually, at least in Japan. We will probably get one with some games from both.Originally Posted by Griking
