Plane tickets and hotel paid for, $700 from Nashville with hotel...NO one has cheap NONSTOP tickets these days from Nashville....
In any event, is there any update to what CGE exclusives will be there?
Does anyone need anything for the museum?

I've not heard anything back yet about the museum either... and I leave for the US in 11 days time...
As for exclusives, I do know George Pelonis will be selling early copies of Vectrex Continuum there, although it goes on general sale to everyone else post CGE. Nothing yet regarding things you'll only be able to get at CGE...

I think my flight from Detroit was $260 round trip which I thought was pretty damn good. Of course I booked several months ago, so that may be why it was cheaper.

Good Deal Games has been saying they'll have exclusives (yes, plural) at the show, but no hints as to what for what systems.

Got any obscure game stuff?
Well, I'm only bringing stuff for the auction me thinks this year, no actual selling but I'm interested in buying a bunch of stuff from everyone.
I would love to see what we exclusives are for this years show!

Regarding air travel prices - I've been checking the prices from NJ sporadically for a few months, and daily for a few weeks.
If you use Bing instead of the various better-known sites (Expedia, Travelocity, etc...) the results are accompanied by a 'Price Predictor'. That gadget states that it expects prices to rise or fall in the future, and displays a confidence level (i.e., how 'sure' it is that the prices will actually rise or fall as it is guessing).
Since I've been checking, the predictor has predicted prices to decline. So far they have declined, but only about $20 or so. (They are currently running about $490 round-trip frim New Jersey, and that includes 1 stop somewhere.) I'm still holding out, but will obviously need to purchase soon. I've already got my rooms and admission, and can't let that all go to waste!
No plane tickets for me, it'll take me 20 minutes to drive there.
One thing I was wondering, will we be able to meet some of these special guests in person like David Crane. Autograph area?
A lot of the alumni will be involved in presentations during the weekend, your best bet is to attend those and ask for autographs afterwards...
Many of the guests wander the show floor taking in the sights, and some of them are at booths (like the Intellivision guys). Almost all of them are involved in lectures though, so you can talk to them afterward. I had no problem finding most of the alums for autographs the last time I was there.

Wow, I think I'd be too intimidated to play poker with the gaming greats. That and I hear Rob is one heck of a poker player so I'd probably lose my shirt.

I'll plan to bounce around the Tropicana Friday night (likely some blackjack, grab some food) and I'll be sure to wear my badge. No internet for me this weekend, so if anyone wants to get together shoot me a PM and I'll send my number.

I will be bringing booze with me as Vegas prices are balls.
As some kid said to his dad in line in CGE 07' "Is he drinking beer at 8 in the morning?" Why yes I am.
