It was an awesome little system, sadly overlooked and mocked in its day.

To be fair, it's still mocked today I have two of them with a nice selection of games but I still hate that controller. But theres definitely enough exclusives to collect for it.

I don't think this was a Gamecube exclusive. The US version is the same game as Super Bust-A-Move on the PS2, except for some changed backgrounds (according to Wikipedia and the back cover art of both games, anyway).

The Japanese GC version, however, had a four player mode.

Edit: Oh goddamn this is a thread from 2004? Agh!

Still, that is still a common mistake... GameFAQs doesn't have the two listed separately, for example. Because yes, the US/EU only "Bust-A-Move 3000" is a port of Super Bust-A-Move on the PS2. The JP only game is an original title, much improved over the original with new features such as 3/4 player support.

Indeed... and do things like remove games that were also available on Dreamcast, Ikaruga shouldn't be there for instance... if a game of the same title was on GBA or something but both are different games I wouldn't count it, it only counts if the actual games are the same, not just the titles. (though Super Monkey Ball's GBA/DS ports... are they the same game apart from graphics, feature-wise?)

... Also the difference between a true exclusive and something which just has some minor exclusive features is an important one really. Finding a way to note that is worthwhile...

Wouldn't have figured with that huge NEC logo as your avatar.

I just tracked this one down, it's so much like F-Zero, probably because it was made by the same team who made F-Zero on the GBA. Did NEC publish any other games for the GCN?

Yeah, the NEC thing was what caught my attention back when the game came out

I thought there was supposed to be some other games nec interchannel were going to do, but got canceled (I know they did culdecept on the ps2)? can't find any info and my memory sucks

And can anyone get this game to work on their Wii? I don't own my own, but the two I've tried it on don't seem to respond to the GC controllers, it boots, it goes through attract mode, just can't get any input to it

And this game soooo screamed Dreamcast port, lol

In the United States, Sonic Gems Collection is also an exclusive, while in other regions it is available for PS2.

Sonic Mega Collection is an exclusive because the PS2/Xbox version is different and has more games.

It was more the name that caught my eye, it's one of the weirdest game names ever. Also thought it was weird that there's no story.

But yeah, it works on my Wii.

Well, they could have gone for the more accurate name:

    "Tube Thruster"

I find these types of lists quite valuable. If anything defines a console, it's exclusives. Just to help clarify things...

Army Men Air Combat: The Elite Missions is an updated release of the N64 title.
Backyard Football was released on PS2
Bloody Roar: Primal Fury was released on the Xbox as Bloody Roar Extreme.
Evolution Worlds is a re-release of the Dreamcast games Evolution: The World of Sacred Device and Evolution 2: Far Off Promise.
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is a remake of PlayStation Metal Gear Solid.
Summoner: A Goddess Reborn was released on PS2 as Summoner 2.
"The GameCube port was released as Summoner: A Goddess Reborn in 2003. The characters of Maia and Taurgis are redesigned from the original (the changes to Maia can be seen by looking at the box art), and there are slight visual differences in some levels (most notably the Palace of Halassar). The GameCube version unfortunately has a significant frame rate stutter during combat, which was not in the PS2 version. It also lacks a hidden cut scene referencing the first game. The gameplay, features, and story are identical." -wikipedia

Bomberman Jetters was released on PS2 in Japan
Chaos Field was released on Dreamcast and PS2 in Japan and on Wii as part of Ultimate Shooting Collection
Ikaruga was released on Dreamcast in Japan
Space Raiders was released on PS2 in Japan
Spirits & Spells was released on PS2 in Japan and Europe
Tales of Symphonia was released on PS2 in Japan
Tom Clancy's The Sum Of All Fears was released PS2 in Europe
Worms Blast was released on PS2 in Europe

Because it's so easy to play Japanese imports on the Gamecube, an updated list including Japanese exclusives would be even more valuable.

    Orrimarrko,Thanks you for your efforts!!!!!
Do you have other exclusivity lists like this for other consoles? If so, could you add links to them? I want a copy of each and ever one, or if you don't can anyone link me to such lists for other consoles? THANKS.

You still need to add Mario Party 6, Mario Party 7, DDR Mario Mix, and StarFox Assault.

Evolution Worlds is also missing a healthy chunk of content from the first game, IIRC. Something like missing at least two of the dungeons or some such? The Sting article on HG101 spells out the differences a lot better.

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes does a pretty good job of standing on its own from Metal Gear Solid. It very much is a new game, just with the MGS levels and storyline in there. The gameplay is pretty different, the AI is totally different, the cinemas and voice acting are all new, etc. Personally, I hated it (awful control and bipolar AI).

SoAF was released on PC as well, if that means anything.
