Hey guys,

I'm trying to track down another SP for a friend, and I'm just trying to test the waters before searching for one. I need it in a store (no online ordering). Is it sold out everywhere? Or can you find it with relative ease? Just trying to see what you guys know.

I got mine on the 21st no problem at best buy, they had about 10 of each color left on the shelf.

I've seen them at a few KB's, Target. they seem to be readily available.

I saw a few of the blue ones still at a Target by me yesterday. So I doubt they are sold out everywhere. Besides the end of March isn't exactly the best gift buying season, and the fact that most kids already got the first GBA so I doubt a lot of parents went to go get another one  . Should not be too hard!!

Best Buy had tons on release day, I haven't checked since then though

Thanks guys. Every Best Buy near me is out, but I won't give up hope just yet.

A friend of mine went to Future Shop (which is owned by Best Buy) and had to order one. I haven't seen any anywhere but I haven't consciously been looking for one (since I have a GBA I'll wait until they drop in price before I consider getting an SP).

The TRU and Target by me didn't have any when I peeked in, but Fred Meyers had a few left. Haven't looked anywhere else.

I just picked up a cobalt blue unit at Target; they're even throwing in a free copy of Driver 2 Advance. Just waiting for the battery to charge!

Every place has them here except Gamestop lol. Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal Mart, Hasting... they're everywhere lol.

I was going to wait also but since Target was throwing in a free copy of driver2 I figured that that was the same as getting the unit for $79
