Think about it this way. There are only 90 gray NWC carts out there yet there are a million women out there who would make a good wife.

I sold one of four known copies of the Genesis Blockbuster Championship II cart to fund my engagement ring for my now-wife. There is only one of her, that's for sure. Absolutely worth it.

Its more than 90 of them ;) Didnt Rob confirm like 121 or 122 copies? Serialnumber also go as high as 500 (or something like that), so most likely 500 units were produced.

Rob confirmed that a few extra greys exisit due to employees at nintendo and the competition itself. (like 5 extra copies) with that said there could be 120ish total, but in no way has all 90 greys or 26 Golds, been found. I don't think more than 20 or so greys and 11 or 12 Golds have been found.
As for the number made, the Golds were made from greys, and the highest serial on greys so far is 383. Judging from the numbers found I bet no more than 400 were made and besides those copies given away that the large majority of the remaining carts were destroyed.

Yeah, an eon ago, I found an engineer who worked on the show who had a grey but lost it. What udisi said is the word on NWC totals.

On my flipside to all arguments:
You can always make money, but no one is making these rares anymore....that's why you don't see me selling many of my uber rares ever.

Yes....but on those lonely, lonely nights, don't you just sometimes find yourself thinking and longing for that old cart? Can she ever keep you as warm with the same kind of play?!? It's always about priorities. LOL Be well....and Best Luck for years to come!
