Datel Pro-CDX/CDX-Plus rarity?

Been awhile since I've been on the boards here...but I'm trying to gather some information before I sell off some of my older game systems, accessories & games.

I bought a Datel Pro-CDX adapter years ago to play Mega CD games on my Genesis CDX system and I'm trying to gauge what this adapter sells for now. I know they are really rare as it took me well over 2 years to track one down. Mine comes in it's original black plastic clamshell case too.

I'm in the middle of a move right now so the majority of my games are still in storage (climate controlled), but I hope to be ready to start selling in 2-3 weeks.

Does it actually work with the Genesis CDX? I thought even the newer versions only worked with Sega CD model 2s. As for price, I'm guessing in the $30-60 range depending on what version it is.

I have sold one 2 Years ago for 102 euro's...
actually the cart goes for around 40-60 euro...

The Datel CD plus (for the CDx / Multimega) is much harder to find

Yes, it works fine on my CDX. Before I bought it, I did a lot of research and eventually got lucky enough to find a overseas seller who had this rare adapter. Here's a photo and write up about the Datel CDX adapter I have with picture for reference:

I see where you say you used this on your GENESIS CDX to play MEGA CD games.

I have tried to use this on my SEGA CDX and it doesn't work.

I have some PAL MEGA CD games I want to play on my X EYE or my SEGA CDX and I have NOT found anything that will let me play the PAL MEGA CD games on either of the above consoles.

Can you help me out.

I'm pretty sure Tototek's MegaCart will work with a CDX, unless I am mistaken.
