Wow. 1.5 years after the Atari VCS's debut, and it has a whole 20 games to choose from!
LOL

That entire article was awesome.
But you musn't forget that those 20 Atari games had 1300 variations. It even says so!

Yeah I miss that. I like games that are customizable to be more challenging. Today's modern games often only have one setting - Too Easy.
It would be nice if you could go into a game like Skies of Arcadia and choose "Half Hit Points" or "Normal Hit Points" or "Double Hit Points" to make the enemies easier or harder to defeat.

Old Playboy mags are a great source for game ads. I have every Playboy up to about 2002 and have a list of which contain videogame ads and articles.
That is awesome, I got a kick out of the BetaMax add also.

HAHAHA!! I'm still cracking up over that Lee ad.
To all the fashion designers of the 70's and early 80's - what the hell were you people thinking!!!?? Much less, on...
IIRC in an old Playboy Xmas issue, their gift idea guide had the 2600 listed for $1000. I dont have the iss anymore, cant confirm.
That MUST have been w/ all the games (at the time) included.
