Does anyone think we will see a MegaMan Wii? I'm a MegaMan fan and would like to see it on the Wii.

Probably, considering how Capcom milked Mega Man to hell in the last generation.

Do you think that Capcom will go the evil route and attempt a Mega Man FPS on the Wii?

I think you meant to say "the last four generations."

Mega Man wasnt really milked before the Battle Network series. They released 10 BN games for GBA alone. Its become like Pokémon hehe.

I dont know of any announcements for Wii when it comes to Mega Man, but there are rumors about Mega Man comming to PS3 through Playstation Network.

Is PS3 was to get one, Wii would most likely. I'm not talking about the "battle network" series. I'm talking about the originals and X collection.

I'm talking in bold too aren't I cool.

It would certainly be interesting if they did what Nintendo did with Metroid and hand it to a foreign studio to make a completely different kind of game. Not bloody likely to happen, but would certainly be interesting.

You are aware that all Mega Man games are made by a foreign studio, aren't you?

I'm pretty sure he meant "foreign" as in "non-Japanese".

if they do go fps with megaman i hope that that they use the same team that did the prime series. if there's any team that can bring it properly to 3d it is them

they should make mm9

1. Why, exactly?
2. They already did. (http://www.mobygames.com/game/gameboy-advance/mega-man-bass)

Not to start an argument (like it has before), but Mega Man and Bass isn't considered MM9.

Unless the box actually says "mm9" then it's not MM9!

Not to mention that calling a game "Mega Man 9" at this point would be completely ridiculous (http://www.square-enix.com/).

I sort of doubt Capcom would want to even try to reinvent the Mega Man franchise at this point. They're still making games, and they're still selling. Nintendo reinvented Metroid because it'd been nearly a decade since the last game.

Not that it wouldn't be fun to see it handled by, say, the team that did Dead Rising and Lost Planet. :)

Well to be honest to hell with rockman all I want is a 52 run of Rockman Zero on the GBA and maybe more PSX Dash games.

No NDS multi screen bulltar, No Supa graphics hypo on PS3 or 360 nonsense, and especially no more Wii TV toy junk heap.

Capcom is a load is stale nonsense. They have this game on the NDS which has a screwed up title and your back to your Rockman values and they start this Power ranger Nonsense.

The same with Street Fighter. They created a game that was perfect during the post Nuclear Naszi WWII years and they lived off that just to screw it up. The thing about this game is that we have near peace and this game is during a time of war. Kinda like now but they need to have a understanding of how things are.

Lastly Resident Evil they pretty much swing and a miss on the GBC and Cube. So now we are going to have more of the same nonsense but without Shinji on the 360 or PS3.

All I want is more Rockman Zero and Dash. Instead the creator of the series including the Resident Evil series is leaving the company to persue there own game companies.

Does not compute.

I dunno, I'd love to see another Mega man game in the vein of the older ones. It would be tremendously awesome if they took the idea of 'switching' to 3D like Super Paper Mario and incorporated that into a new title. Although they've done compilations, an 'All-Stars' game containing all NES and GB games with 16/32-bit updated sprites wouldn't be a bad thing. Even a remake like the PSP game (sans the chibi-Rockman, of course) would be cool.

But they won't, we all we can expect are Battle Network offshoots.

That game never happened.

I agree. It does have a somewhat similar style, but wasn't executed well. The only reason I have it is because it came in the Rockman Anniversary box set. I haven't played or enjoyed an X game since the first one.

Plus, I was referencing the original series, not the X series. I think they're just more 'fun'.

I did see that there's a rumor in the new EGM that Capcom is bringing an updated version of the original Mega Man to the PlayStation Network. (Off-topic, I know).
