It looks promising so far. Definitely reminds me of the terrific site Sega-16.com but it's all good. I'm sure as your site develops though that it will have its own unique flavor. As a site owner myself, I wish you the best and hope you can update it on a weekly basis as I'm curious to see it blossom. I'll add it to my links section. Although I'm not a big Genesis fan, I like browsing Sega-16.com and your site looks like it has good potential to be a fun site to follow.

Yup, good perspective. I wish more people saw it the way you do. Already I've seen some talk from those who feel it is "too close" to Sega-16. The beautiful thing is different people have different visions and writing ability, including what pictures to take, how to arrange them and whatnot. Therefore, even if two similar sites have similar goals and ambitions, they each get there in a myriad of different ways. That to me is the beautiful thing about similar websites. There is room for all, because we all have different writing styles and what have you.

The Sega16bit site is a sister site to Sega8bit. It's not meant t ocompete with any site out there; it's just there to give a different perspective on things and to add to the information already available.

As an admin there, I'd like to say that goldenaxeboy "advertised" the site without telling any of us (had he asked, we would have told him "no"). So any admin here should remember to burn him only, and not myself or the others working on the site and forum. He's "helping" us without telling us. So anyone who isn't peeved can find the site and forum through Google once it's done :)

Personally, I don't sit around and google search "Sega Genesis" all day. The best way to experience the Sega Genesis is to PLAY it, not search for it on Google. So this is the only way I would probably find out about a place like sega16bit.com

The point of my post was not to attack him as much as it was to express displeasure from the admins at our board and site over his actions. I know some of the mods are annoyed with his spamming, and I wanted to make sure they knew that he acted on his own and has nothing to do with us except that he signed up on the forum. If we wanted t ospam other boards about the site and everything, we wouldn't use a youngster with questionable grammar.

As for hostilities, he's peeved at me because he held a poll on his board on whether something should be added, then disregarded the poll and did it anyways, which I called him on. Anyhow, I've said what I needed to. Everyone have a spiffy day. :)
