I have Lifeline for PS2, I know it requires a USB headset, must I get official SONY brand or can I use ANY USB headset for such titles???

Any as far as I know.
Technically Sony has never released an official branded one, but released Logitech ones with their games that got released with headset mikes (SOCOM and one or two others).
