Now that XBOX stuff is getting cheaper to find (some things anyway) I was trying to find out what awesome accessories I might have missed out on.
Pretty much anything that would be classified as an "accessory" is open for discussion: First party, third party, controllers, console skins, whatever.
I myself would recommend the Logitech Wireless controller.
What do you guys find to be must own accessories for the XBOX?

if you can find it, definitely look into getting the Steel Battalion controller. It only works with the Steel Battalion games but is worth owning simply for the conversational aspects alone.

It's not a must have, but the fishing controller certainly improves things if you like thost games.

I added a pic of my personal one above. It's very difficult to find, not many were made.... The one for PC is easy to find, but finding the xbox one is quite a feat.

Wow, a 10 minute search on the internet found nothing. Definitely hard to find!!

I liked the Street Fighter Arcade Stick and Controller's. You can pick them up on the cheap if your local EB/Game Stop still has them. I just picked up two controllers for $4.99 Ea.

Any Chance of you selling that bad boy?
Thrustmaster Flight stick.
Good luck.
You beat me to it. I had to buy a Euro one on eBay about a year ago in order to finally get my hands on it.

When the thrustmasterbater sticks are on eBay, how much do they usually go for?

Never, unless your offer is in the 4 digit range. ;)

I have seen them sell for in the triple digits. It's a great stick, and tough to get.

Here's a list of all the Xbox accessories each with a discription, pictures, and an aproximate production timeframe, from the earliest prototype controller up to the 360.
Only ones i don't have listed are:
- Microphone
- DDR Mat
- Steel Battalion
- Thrustmaster
If you want something really rare, look for the official orange controller...
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/pikkonson/oranges-type.jpg
The Dakota controller probably comes in second for rare, then the transparent green dukes in third. There probably aren't more then a few dozen alamo's, they were for internal Microsoft testing.

Does anyone know what a loose thrustmaster would be worth? I passed one up this week for $20...Had no idea it was rare.

You sure it was a XBox one and not for the PC? I would pick it up for $20 if I were you.

I just got back from the store and it was still there surprisingly so I bought it. Yes it is the Xbox version and I have to say, it's pretty comfortable. I don't think I have any games that would work with it though, I have to check. Anyone have suggestions for games to use with it?

Two of the flight games that I know that are pretty good are Crimson Sky and Secret Weapons Over Normandy.

Air Force Delta Storm works nicely with it as well.

I'd really like to pick up that light gun that's built like a rifle as well as one of those xbox logitech wireless controllers. If I could find one of those thrustmaster or Steel Battalion controllers for a good deal, I'd like to get those as well.

This baseball controller (http://www.amazon.com/Qmotions-Baseball-Full-Motion-Game-Controller/dp/B0008G2W7K/ref=sr_1_1/103-8288220-5751065?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1178936663&sr=8-1) is one I don't recall ever seeing in a store before. Don't know how good it works.

Not exactly a must own, but one oddball that nobody seems to be aware of is the Japanese Edition controller. I bought one at CompUSA in November of 2002, and haven't seen any since. The Xbox "Controller S Japanese Edition" was an official controller sold by Microsoft USA. It was sold in almost identical packaging to the Controller S (except below "Controller S" the words "Japanese Edition" were printed). I have never actually held a real Japanese Xbox controller, but this controller seems to have all the features of one -- the green Xbox jewel without the big X, translucent ABXY buttons with the letters etched in instead of printed on, slightly less resistance in the triggers, and the cord is a bit shorter. On the sticker on the back where the regular S-type says "Controller S", this one says "Xbox Game Controller", and while the normal S was made in China, this one was made in Malaysia. You can tell that this controller was made for US distribution because it has the FCC logo and other logos that the regular US Controller S has on the back.

The "Qmotions" are iffy. They try to use existing games for their accessories, which sometimes doesn't work so well. For Xbox there is:
Qmotions Baseball
Qmotions Golf
Qmotions Funfitness
They also made a Qmotions Xboard for PS2. An Xbox one was supposed to come out, but I don't think it ever did. These are definitely uncommon, but by no means are they are the rare caliber of the Thrustmaster Joystick or other limited edition Controllers. Yet.
What about the High Definition cable pack? Those seem to be rare nowadays.

I've noticed that the s-video pack shows up more often than the HD pack. I'm just happy that I found one last year.
But if you don't have HD yet (like me) there isn't a really huge difference in video quality between s-video and component.

How's this xbox controller? Isn't it just a EA branded Logitech Cordless precision controller? I just picked that up for $12.

That Logitech controller is awesome. The d-pad is a tad iffy, but the rest of it is pure bliss.

If you're into DDR, don't bother with the Pelican pads they sell at GameStop. Only use the Konami ones that come with the game. There is a noticeable difference. Of course, if you have deep pockets, there are some nice hard ones that can be purchased online.
Also, if you use Live, get the Halo 2 "Limited Edition" headset from Plantronics. While 'LE' is in the title, it's somewhat common, and quite confortable. A must have if you are hardcore into Halo.

Not the scope gun shown above.

Both guns work, but this one works better. The sniper scope rifle is way too heavy, even after you take the stock and barrel off.

Have any of you used this light gun (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-4m-49-en-70-23p.html)? That Beretta 92FS Thrustmaster looks cooler than that green plastic light gun. I also thought the LCD TopGun (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-4m-49-en-70-16s7.html) looked interesting.

The little one is better then the sniper scope, but still not all that great. The reload button is on the bottom of the handle, so you have to use it two handed which is somewhat pointless for a pistol.

That may be illegal to import into the US. It doesn't have the orange cap on the end. I was going to get one anyway, but haven't yet.

So you have to tap the button on the bottom of the handle to reload?
Sounds almost remotely realistic (reloading the magazine in the handle).

Silent Scope light rifle+Silent Scope Complete, the sole reason I own an Xbox.
Ugh. That Pelican sniper rifle is one of the worst light guns I've ever played with. Just to use it with Silent Scope, you gotta turn the brightness on the tv WAAAAAY up to the point where everything on screen is too washed out so it'll register. Even then, it's still very flaky.
It's pretty fun to use in Hose Of The Dead III in shotgun mode, but the thing was so damn heavy, I had to rest every 5 minutes to keep my arm from falling off.

It works fine on my tv, I don't understand why it doesn't work well on everyone else's.
I also like using it with HotD3 because it feels like you're using a shotgun when using the pump and it feels better because you can support it with your shoulder. It's only 3-4lbs with everything attached.
I still need to get 2 of those Madcatz guns someday to try some dual-wielding.
