Do XBL downloads seem alot slower since the update?

It took almost 11 hours for me to download the Forza 2 demo yesterday.

Today it's taking just as long to DL the Area 51 demo and the Crackdown DLC.

I'm on a 6MB/s DSL line and I'm not downloading anything else in the background or on my PC, and it's a wired connection - not wireless.. What gives?

I downloaded the Forza demo in 5 minutes last night and the Crackdown content in 4-5 seconds this morning. I'm not sure what could be the problem on your end.

I got Forza in about 30 minutes yesterday, I'm downloading 51 right now so I'll post how long that took when its done but so far its about 5% in 3 minutes.

51 only took about 20 minutes all told

Downloaded fine on mine end as well, actually seems to be a bit faster.

Way faster for me, Forza 2 demo downloaded in under 10 minutes for me.

What do you have netzero high speed and that is its 6 kilobytes:) Seriously I did the update and didn't have a problem area 51 took 10 minutes. I did notice one time that downloads were taking a little longer than I am use to but I chalked it up to peak time traffic because later it was back to normal. I always try to download off peak.

Okay - I feel like a dumbass.

My PC was downloading updates in the BG. And I wasn't paying attention.

Forza took me about 15 minutes, but I think it all depends on how many people are downloading it at the same time.
