First, I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, I don't have time to search too much.

Anyway...

I saw a cool picture in Swedens biggest videogame magazine of a gamer playing Forza Motorsport 2 with 3 screens and 3 Xbox 360. This is something for me. Not now but definately in the future.

1. Are there other games supporting 3 screen for the Xbox?
2. Are there other consoles supporting this (for a reason I think PC)
3. Is there a 3 screen mode for any unit/game which does not require 3 units?
4. What type of other games than racing would, what I think, make a really cool impact with 3 screen gaming? Probably Flightsim but that is not what I will be playing. Probably a more Arcade-like Flightsim though.

Thanks for watching and please answer...

It's a pretty rare feature. The first Forza had hidden options for 3 screens, I believe, and Gran Turismo 4 will do up to 6. I've also seen a photo of a PC flight sim setup with about a dozen monitors. The earliest game I can think of that could do this is Doom. There were some hidden command line switches to have extra networked machines act like left or right side views.

Oh, and MAME32fx supports multiple monitors on one PC for some arcade games that used more than one.

How do you hook up an Xbox 360 to three screens? IS there some sort of splitter cable or what?

Nope, you network 3 consoles together, each with their own screen. Needless to say, this is a fairly expensive setup. Heh.

I wonder if you need 3 copies of the game too.

Yup, you need one for each console. Definitely not practical unless you've got a few buddies that already have the necessary extra equipment.

Will be quite costy indeed :) 3 consoles, 3 copies of the games, 3 monitors. But as they say, all good things are 3 (or something like that) hehe ;)

Speaking of multi monitors. In F1 for PS3 its possible to use the PSP as a mirror for the car. So what you see on the PSP screen is like looking into a mirror of the car, thats also pretty cool. I wonder if you can attach several of PSPs, one for each mirror.

It's definitely for the enthusiasts not the common man. Then again when you're spending over a grand on a racing chair maybe it's not that extravagant a setup.
