This and another PS2 variant allows you to make and edit movies and record them to DVD I think.
The plus about this is the obvious disc input and look. There is other variants that does exactly what this does.
Just a PS2 with DVD recording capabilities. I had a chance to buy one but I did not want to waste money.

I used to have one but I sold it recently to get enough cash for a ps3. I think I'll regret it in a few years as they will get rare and probably be worth alot more.
I see them pop up on Yahoo Japan every so often, and they usually go for a reasonable price.
