It's been a while. I had posted these elsewhere at someone's request, and it was suggested I post here as well, so here it goes. This is the product of collecting for several years, piling up so many PCBs, cabinets, and pins that I couldn't even use the stuff, and then dumping just about everything I didn't love. Now, I have a collection of games that I play regularly, can access easily, and am mostly satisfied with. Several pictures, let it load, and hang in there...

On the way down to the "Cade", some words of wisdom:

We obey all the rules except for beverages and loitering. Lots of beverages and loitering going on:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1848.JPG

Down to the "classics" side, first stop is the Rock-Ola 469. Now playing? Journey, Def Leppard, Ozzy, and more 45s from the 1980s:

Far wall, Super Breakout, Asteroids, and Taito Egret (featuring a variety of Neo Geo MVS, Capcom CPS-2, and Taito F3, along with the occasional vertical shmup):

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1852.JPG

Near wall, Circus, Missile Command, Tempest, Gyruss, Galaxian, and Time Pilot (tough to see):

Egret again:

Circus and Missile Command:

Tempest (with switchable Tubes chip) and Gyruss:

Galaxian:

As a side-attraction, we have our Lego Space monorail traveling around the top of this part of the room. Here's the home base:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1861.JPG

And a floating bridge:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1862.JPG

We also have a city in the back of the room. Here's one shot, and I won't bore you with more:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1865.JPG

The back wall features the mini arcade. Here's one of about three sections. Included here are Pac-Man, QBert, and the Vectrex:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1868.JPG

Last stop on the classic side is the Atari 2600 corner, complete with old Radio Shack 13" TV. Shelves include some MVS and other arcade carts, along with Atari carts:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1869.JPG

OK, so then there's the pinball and misc side. Here's the view as you enter:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1872.JPG

PinBot and Bride of Pinbot:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1874.JPG

Comet and assorted video and pinball flyers on the wall:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1875.JPG

We prefer Williams pins mostly. Sorcerer and Earthshaker:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1876.JPG

Time Fantasy, The Getaway, and Genie (a Gottlieb):

The opposite wall houses the Namco Cyberlead, which features Sammy Atomiswave games - particularly Neo Geo Battle Coliseum - almost exclusively:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1878.JPG

Center of the room, US Naomi cab with GD setup. Was once World Series Baseball, is now Capcom Vs SNK 2.. and Border Down.. and many others. I wasn't always a big Naomi fan, but I have since been sold:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1879.JPG

Far rear corner, Nintendo Playchoice 10. I'm not a huge fan of the PC-10, but we don't actually own an NES, so most of our favorites are played here if available:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1881.JPG

Opposite rear corner. Gun Fight, Pac-Man with 96-in-1 board installed, and a sitdown California Speed (complete with funky seat cover):

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1882.JPG

Another two pin shots:

http://inneranomaly.org/clubninja/DSCN1887.JPG

To the back:

That's about it. Thanks for looking.

HOLY.
SHIT.

You're a lucky man. If you're married, you're even luckier. That room truly rocks -- musta cost a small fortune and a lot of time. I could imagine many nights down there with buddies, rocking "Pinball Wizard" or some "Styx", kicking back with a beer and gaming all night long.

You have enough cabs that you could actually charge people admission.

Those game systems are nice...but you have a Lego City in your basement!

You are a god among men, why don't you share more pics of that little city?

Someday, man... someday.

I agree that the Lego city sets your gameroom apart from other collectors. It is an awsome. An actual Pinbot machine, a Missle Command in great shape, and a Gunfight? I rarely see game collections with the ancient classics like that, bravo.

Anyway, I'm adding you to the list of people I want to be like when I grow up.

You're right, that's not just a couple of cabinets; that truly is an arcade. :) It must've been an amazing sight to behold once you got everything in place.

Did you finish the remainder of your basement and fill it with more stuff? It's 10x as big/more-full than when I got my Neo Gold from you. Unless you got a new place.

And off to the better-suited Arcade Alley.

I love the egret and the cyber lead. You should invest in some shock boxes for your loose MVS games. It would make your shelf look a lot prettier.

That's a great home arcade! I feel sorry for your movers if you decide to change residences :)

Best thing of course is the Vectrex!

Thanks folks. A few responses:

Actually, she plays about as much as I do, has convinced me to buy games that I've otherwise been on the fence about, and helps carry and move games when she is able. Less fortune and more time was involved here. Think buy low, sell high, repeat.

nice Lego Target

Thanks for noticing :) Custom job, looks mostly like our local Target, where we spend far too much time.

why don't you share more pics of that little city?

Maybe I will. It's still a little under construction, though.

Did you finish the remainder of your basement and fill it with more stuff?

Yup. It's been about a year and half since you came for the Neo Geo. I finished the rest of the basement shortly after that, and the rest has grown exponentially since. I also finally got stuff out of "alternative" storage locations.

I love the candy cabinets too. I'd gladly set aside a little extra space for a few more if they turned up. As for shock boxes, I've had them and they're nice, but they're not my thing. Pretty shelves are for AES guys.

Don't worry about the movers - when we eventually move again, I won't even let them touch that stuff. It's painful and time consuming, but I prefer to do the moving myself. Actually, the only two things in there that suck for moving are the Playchoice and the body of the California Speed. The rest is easy.

Those pictures make me weep, they're so beautiful. Is that the new Corner Cafe in your Lego city? Also, where did you get those barstool/seat things?

Good eye - that is the new Cafe Corner.

The stools are Target specials.
