There was a discussion thread sometime back (and I can't seem to find it using the forum search) where Soft Porn Adventure came up. The funniest thing to me about that cover is how much the waiter looks like Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite. It's even funnier if you recall Rico's speech about how the coach should have put him in the big game back in 1982 which, interestingly, would have been about the time Soft Porn Adventure was released:

I'd have gone pro...in a heartbeat. I'd be makin' millions of dollars and...livin' in a...big ol' mansion somewhere. You know, soakin' it up in a hot tub with my soul mate.

Apparently there is one alternate reality wherein Rico got his wish...in spades.

She was elitist, and I attribute the decline in popularity of Sierra-style adventure games not so much to the rise in low-brow gaming (although that may have in fact happened) as to the growing dissatisfaction with puzzles that have one and only one solution - which may or may not make any sense to anybody but Roberta Williams. I mean, come on - "Rumplestiltskin" with a backwards alphabet instead of "Nikstlitselpmur?" Who's going to guess that?

I don't have a copy of the Retro Survival CD here with me, but the Sierra article on it I think identified who all the people in the Soft Porn cover were.
