Can a used copy of this game be reused or is it worthless. I have 3 copies which were traded in to the store but I don't want to sell them if the buyer can't use them.

I honestly don't have an answer for you, but all I do know is that a local FYE was selling a used copy for $50....and the EB games in the same mall is selling it brand new for $20....woot...

They have use for people who already have Final Fantasy XI accounts from the PC version and want to install the game on their 360 -- the codes aren't needed in this case, since the user will just be using his existing username and password. However, the game will be useless for new players since they'd need the (already used) activation codes to create a new account.

As long as you make this clear to potential buyers, you shouldn't have any issues selling them.

I'm surprised. That seems pretty backwards to me. From a complete outsider's POV, I would think that the account would be tied to the gamertag rather than a code assigned to a particular copy of the game.

Boo on them.
