I'm looking at items from a seller on eBay and he claims his games are sealed; when I asked him if they were factory he said he wasn't sure. He bought them at a pawn shop and some of them don't have the line down the back. If there is no line down the back of the seal, is that an immediate give away that this is resealed or did some SNES games have different sealing patterns than others? On the same note, if the box has the heat seal line, does that prove that it isn't resealed or can good resealers imitate that line?

Sealed (and resealed) SNES games are discussed often here.

If you are talking about the large lot on ebay with dracula x and FF2 etc, I believe those are reseals. Just because it has the line does not really mean much these days, sadly.

Haha wow, thanks! That's the exact auction I was looking at! People on this forum really know what they're talking about!
