Anyone going this year? This will be my 4th year.

And it never dawned on me untill last year the sheer size of the game room, anyone up for hanging out and playing some games?

Just thought i'd also mention that Tomokazu Seki will be there. He did the voice for Kyle in the Sega CD version of Lunar and Stahn in Tales of Destiny. I'll hopefully be getting at least one of my games signed :)

I'll be there. This'll be my 4 year going to anime conventions but my second trip to Otakon. I was amazed with it last year so it's a must for me now. I have to drop going to any other conventions because they get expensive and some aren't worth the money, in addition planning is a big issue especially during the spring/fall semesters.

Anyways, thanks for the heads up and I'll be sure to bring my ToD case to be signed. :D

I'll be there this year too. Went last year and got so caught up in panels and meeting people I know on the "interwebs," I never even got to check out the gaming room. And I call my self a gamer, lol.

1 Week left!

Saturday I'm going by myself, so anyone want to meet up in the gaming room?

ugh it's a shame ive been going to Otakon for years. I'm not going this year, for many reasons, but I feel bad about it already.

Last year was so shamefully disorganized.

I'm frickin old and it's not as fun to run around in bare feet for three days in my Ed (Cowboy Bebop, natch) cosplay.

The only things I've been buying in the dealers room recently have been import games and anime pins. blech.

But I'm going to miss it. :(

lAt year was my first return visit to Otakon in 3 years and I was amazed at how much stuff they added to the gamr room. And they had two big Halo 2 reas set up. But whats always cool to see is how many woman are there playing games that are just as good as the guys playing.

and why wouldn't the girls be "just as good"?

That wasn't an insult. It was a complement to all the girl gamers out there. I said it's always cool to see and I meant it:)

Hope everyone had a good first day. I'll be around with a DP shirt on if anyone wants to say hey.

I didn't get around to doing much online prior to leaving for Otakon so the "meeting" wasn't on my agenda. We should schedule months in advance an Otakon 2008 gathering!

I enjoyed it very much, and I am a lucky guy not to have stuck to the panel schedule, considering all of the bad things I heard that went on. The concerts were great, Eminence was F'in A-mazing! Sakimoto FTW! Heheh. But yeah, as much as it seemed discombobulated, I still came out of there having a great time.

Ya'll might of seen me, I was dressed up as Ishimaru from Eyeshield-21.

Rock and Roll.

Meh. Way to make me feel bad about not going last night, Mr. TekETeA. That said, tell me how Katsucon is cause I have heard different things from my other friends who go to it- they love it. Last time I went to Katsucon, I got yelled at for having "BARE STEEL" in my O-ren Ishii cosplay when they saw my blade was aluminum- I had to hoof it back to the car in the smallest zori sandals you ever saw IN FEBRUARY to put my kitana away, and then- no one knew who I was. I mean, I don't exactly look like lucy liu, do I?

^You mean this chick?^

Yeah...I think your hair is shorter then her's.

Katsucon: Eh, it is safety, and they are hardcore about no metal props. But yeah, most defiantly I'll let you know how it is. I know how one small cruddy thing that goes wrong can smother the image for the rest of an event.
