I recently bought a copy of Impossible Mission II for the NES (the version put out by American Video). The label and cartridge appear totally geniune, but when I put it in my system to play it, it's an entirely different game - RBI Baseball by Tengen! I even played it, this baseball game seems to work OK. But that is the only game on this cart as far as I can tell.
I really don't know what to make of this :?

I make of it that your cart was mislabelled. Or if you want to think of it another way, your labelled cart was given the wrong innards.
Either way, seems kinda neat. Maybe you can use it to play tricks on people.

Someone probably just used a security bit to open it up and replace the board with RBI baseball. Actually, this happens more frequently than you would think. I can recall about a dozen times something like this has been reported on this message board.

I agree. In fact, IIRC, a lot of third party games didn't even bother with the security bit and just used the same kind of screw Nintendo used on it's original "5 screw" games.
