sorry for sounding like a complete noob, but I am having problems using the netplay service on zsnes. I have opened the ports on my router, but on the terminal screen it gets stuck on "connecting to server". Any suggestions mate?

Sam,
It might be your firewall . Other than that I can't help you .there are so many people on Zbattle with the same problem .You say you have opened the ports .there seems to be some sort of art to port forwarding ,since so many people can't do it.

Kaillera is no good if you are in Perth with an internet connection of say 512k

Zbattle has the best RRR players, namely - me ,and a whole bunch of Brazilians:
http://www.zbattle.net/ ... Check it out.

On Zbattle my username is Hawk.

Oh and if you want we can try to connect up to see if we can get it working since I have no trouble on Zbattle.Whoever you have been connecting with might be the problem.

hey fleach, give me a week or so to brush up on my RRR skills and I'll take you on :) with a direct connection.

It's been ages since I played that game. Do you play any others, like International Cricket?

Sam ,

The only games I play are RRR and the Battlegame in Mario 3 .They are the games I am expert at. I have not played other consoles or anything for a long time ,I used to like Tombraider. I had a go on a Wii recently ,bowling and tennis is good. I've never played International Cricket/

Sure ,we can play direct when you get your skills up ,you may need several weeks ,heh .I can then show you some tricks ,I know all of em. I assume you are aware of the secret player on RRR -Olaf .in case you dont, you have to hold L + R + Select at the choose hero screen ,then scroll right till you see Olaf the Viking.

thanks for the tip, i'll be in contact when i think i'm ready :)

On the same topic, you should learn International Cricket on SNES if you have an interest in cricket. A quick 10 over a side game is a shitload of fun and doesn't take long either.
